The Kobra Sight in use on the training ground of BattleBit Remastered

One of the most popular weapons in any first-person shooter is the assault rifle, a fact that is not lost on the team behindBattleBit Remastered, evident in its wide array of attachment options to increase weapon proficiency. With a host of short and medium-range scopes at their disposal, these are the ones most effective in getting an advantage over the opposition.

10Kobra

The Kobra is perhaps one of the more advanced scopes available to use for assault rifles on the basis that it is simply smaller than the alternative options. With a very small viewpoint and a unique optic, less experienced players may opt for one of the bigger, simpler designs to guide their shots.

While it is compact, the Kobra does not sacrifice any speed or accessibility. Players who are confident in their aim and are quick to look down the sight will have little-to-no trouble operating this fun-sized attachment.

The Red Dot Sight in use on the training ground of BattleBit Remastered

9Red Dot

The Red Dot scope is as self-explanatory as it gets, and about as basic as it gets. While that may sound like a disadvantage, the scope iscertainly effective for playerswho use their scopes in short bursts, as opposed to extended periods of careful aiming.

The scope is relatively small but is unobstructed by the thin border around it. It is a handy addition to any assault rifle, however the other red-dot optical scopes inspired by this one may be more suitable long-term options.

The Reflex Sight in use on the training ground of BattleBit Remastered

8Reflex

While it bears a moderate size increase over the Kobra, the Reflex sight is slightly disadvantaged over its alternatives by its smaller stature. Despite that, it is still an efficient and effective way to ensure a player’s bullets find their intended homes.

The mount is quite bulky on the Reflex which does obstruct some vision, however, the basic circular shape and reliable red-dot optic are always safe options for automatic weapons. While it may not win any awards for being a spectacular visual weapon guide,it rarely lets its owner down.

The Holographic Sight in use on the training ground of BattleBit Remastered

7Holographic

Given how simplistic many of the automatic weapon sights are, it would be easy to consider the Holographic sight to be busier than its counterparts. With its squared shape and red circle and dot optic, the Holographic sight offers a marginal amount more guidance than other alternatives.

While the optics offermore support for players looking to hit their mark, the thicker border and smaller viewpoint may bear a slight disadvantage compared to other sites. With that said, this would be barely noticeable, given how quickly aiming and moving are achieved with this scope.

6Aim Comp

The Aim Comp sight is a simple but great attachment for any assault rifle that’ll provide a minimalistic but clear guide to hitting the target. It is relatively lightweight, which makes it easy to quickly aim down the sight and move in time with any running targets.

The casing around the sight is relatively small and the thickness of the frame does take away from the visibility of the sight somewhat, but not to the extent that it would noticeably affect aiming performance. It is a safe but reliable option for players of all skill levels with any semi-auto or automatic weapon.

5DK P7

The DK P7 is a no-nonsense, basic design for a scope that doesn’t use any heavy-duty framework to mount it on top of the gun. Its frame isn’t a complete circle which does marginally open the line of sight ever so slightly and the optic is a bold and bright green that will help players find their target on any environmental backdrop.

The side attachment on the gun for the DK P7 scope is fairly significant and may serve as a distraction to players not accustomed to such a design, so it may take some time to get used to. However, given the simplicity of the sight itself, this attachment is a solid optionfor any automatic weapon.

4Prisma

The Prisma isone of the more heavy-duty scopesavailable for players to attach to their assault rifles. As a medium-range attachment, the Prisma will cover more distance than its shorter-ranged counterparts and will make finding targets from further away a lot easier.

While there are certainly perks to a medium-range scope, it is marginally slower than the shorter alternatives, which can be a difference-maker in an environment where a split second can be the difference between winning or losing an engagement. What is also worth noting with longer-range scopes is that assault rifles will rarely get the job done with one bullet, so players will need to account for a divergence from the target due to recoil.

3H S401 G5

The H S401 G5 scope has very much the same feel as the Aim Comp, but amplifies the size of the scope’s target area. With the same basic red-dot optic, this will be apopular option for players using automatic weaponsas the simplicity of the sight ensures players are not deterred or distracted by their own weapon’s features.

Much like the other shorter-range scopes for assault rifles, the H S401 G5 is lightweight and easy to maneuver, but it does bear the expected limitations of finding targets from a longer distance.

2ACOG

A well-known scope in its own right, the ACOG sight is featured in just about any first-person shooter you can think of, and rightfully so. This medium-range scope offers greater offensive potency at range with automatic weapons while maintaining smooth maneuverability and a manageable amount of recoil.

The ACOG is one of the strongest candidates for players who prefer a range boost on their automatic weapon scopes, however, it is advised to bear in mind that scopes of this nature are slightly slower than the shorter distance sights.

1PK AS

The PK AS is an enormous scope, as far as the assault rifle’s short-range sights are concerned. It mimics the simple design of a clear glass viewer and red-dot optic, with a small black circle around the optic for additional aiming guidance.

Given its wide optical range and clear view on its targets, the PK AS is a great starting point for rookie players, particularly as the border around the scope is not dominating the space. Its simplistic design will also appeal to and benefit the more seasoned veterans with a keen eye for picking out hostile players.
