Summary
While venturing across theexpansive country of EgyptinStrange Brigade, players will need to purchase some reliable and powerful weapons to help them survive the undead hordes that await them. All weapons featured in the game can be purchased with enough coins, but some can even be found hiding away in chests, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for any that show up.
Players should also keep in mind that every gun in the game can be upgraded with the use of Gems, which apply special attributes and buffs to a weapon when attached. Therefore, while the weapons on this list are considered to be the best in the game when it comes to their base-stats, there’s no harm in making themeven more destructive by boosting their capabilities. Without further ado, here are the weapons inStrange Brigadethat rank among the best.
6Leamington Model 14
Damage: 65%
The Leamington Model 14 is adouble-barreled shotgunthat is essentially the all-rounder of the shotguns. While it obviously only holds two bullets at a time, a single shot is still more than enough to obliterate Skeleton Warriors or any other regular enemies with ease, so long as the player can control the recoil.
The rate of fire is also pretty fast, which ensures the player can keep outputting sustainable damage over time. The only real downside is that the gun doesn’t really excel at anything, so while it’s great for keeping players protected and dealing with single enemies, it never goes above and beyond in any of its stats to be quite as good as its competition.
5Lee Ensham MKIII
Damage: 56.89%
The Lee Ensham bolt-action rifle is a bit of a risky weapon to use since it heavily relies on the player beingaccurate with their shots, but if they can manage to line up a headshot to activate that damage multiplier, they’ll be capable of taking out entire hordes with just this weapon alone. It is the second most powerful rifle in the entire game, which makes it a true force to be reckoned with, and when mixed with a few Gems or with Frank’s Exploding Headshot ability, it can become absolutely devastating.
The biggest drawback is the lackluster rate of fire, but all this means is that players need to make sure that every shot counts if they want to be dealing significant amounts of damage. Overall, it’s a great weapon thatmight just take a little bit of practiceto become fully familiar with.
4Eastleigh Express
Damage: 100%
The Eastleigh Express is somewhat of a double-edged sword in the way it works, but if players manage to get to grips with its admittedly terrible accuracy, they’ll be able to deal what feels like anunfair amount of damage to their enemies. Out of all the shotguns in the game, the Eastleigh Express deals the most damage, which means it’s not only guaranteed to kill regular enemies in a single shot, but even armored enemies will stand no chance against its shells.
It also comes with 2 Gem slots, which is great for balancing out some of the weapon’s shortcomings, mainly the accuracy and rate of fire. The Eastleigh Express is a real force of destruction when shots land, but actually achieving this is much easier said than done.
3Gehrig-Delgane S1 (DLC)
Damage: 62.87%
The Gehrig-Delgane is essentially an upgraded version of the Lee Ensham in nearly every way, except for the accuracy, which does suffer a little bit. On the other hand, though, it can dish out a lot more damage thanks to the DPS and rate of fire being slightly higher, but what’s more is it even comes with the unique ability to penetrate through enemies.
This can make it a real menace when facing large swarms of enemies, and it can be especially viable when equipped with the Gem of Armorbane, which will also allow it to fire through armored enemies. Getting a hang of the recoil can be a little tricky at first, but it’s well worth it considering just how lethal this rifle can be,especially against bosses.
2Colbeck Wildfire (DLC)
Damage: 13.17%
By far the best submachine gun in the game and one that is capable of tearing apartentire hordes of enemieswith a single magazine, the Colbeck Wildfire is a weapon that is guaranteed to strike fear into the eyes of any enemies who get near. Because the gun comes with the highest rate of fire in the entire game, it’s capable of racking up a ridiculous amount of damage in barely any time at all. Luckily, it also comes with a whopping 71 rounds in a magazine, which is just enough to ensure that it doesn’t need to be reloaded too often.
The accuracy of the gun is admittedly very low, but this doesn’t really matter much when the weapon, even just in its base form, can clear out some space for a team and keep a wave of enemies at bay with little to no trouble. If players manage to get their hands on the Gem of Stabilization to ease out the recoil a little bit, this weapon can become more or less game-breaking.
1AB Woolf Slamfire
Damage: 86.83%
On the surface, the AB Woolf Slamfire looks likeany ordinary pump-action shotgunthat wouldn’t be considered very special, but when taking a look at its stats, it’s actually slightly unfair just how powerful this weapon truly is in literally all departments. Not only is it just shy of dealing the same amount of damage as the Eastleigh Express, but it is also much more accurate and barely has any recoil to speak of.
Additionally, firing a single shell at a time might seem like a downside, but considering how shockingly fast the pump action and reload speed is, it largely negates this issue entirely. On top of all this, it even comes with 3 Gem slots, so players can really customize the weapon in any way they like. The AB Woolf Slamfire is undoubtedly the most reliable weapon in the game that is capable of taking down even the most monstrous of enemies, and it can even end up making boss encounters an absolute cakewalk.
