Preparations forDestiny 2’s next major raid race event are now well underway, with theWitch QueenDLC’s most eagerly awaited piece of endgame content set to launch this Saturday, on March 5th. The lucky fireteam to first complete “The Vow of the Disciple” will be getting more than just clout, however.

Bungie has now officially revealed the full suite of exclusive goodies coming withDestiny 2’s pyramid raid, featuring a number of physical and digital items that players won’t be able to get anywhere else. Exclusive day-one emblems, for one, are usually extremely coveted, as they show off a player’s veteran status in the game’s pinnacle difficulty content.

The race forDestiny 2’s “World First” completion ofThe Vow of the Disciple raidwill grant the winning fireteam a whole suite of exclusive items, though some are more exclusive than others. The classicDestinyraid belt, for one, will only be given out to the team that wins the raid race, though anyone who completes the raid within 24 hours of its release will also be getting a unique high-contrast emblem to show off their skill.

Aside from the raid belt and the Contest Mode emblem, most other rewards should be more readily accessible to the average player Guardian. The custom-made jacket, for example, will be available to everyone who completes The Vow of the Disciple within a week ofDestiny 2 Witch Queen’s raid launch. This should be significantly easier than day-one completion, as the mechanics and puzzles will already be worked out, and the game won’t lock competing fire teams into Contest Mode for added difficulty.

Bungie has already announced thatsomeDestiny 2Exotics are getting disabledfor this raid race, so any players hoping to compete in theWitch Queenraid race ought to take this information into account. Most raid groups are still figuring out their load-outs and tactics, but it doesn’t seem that power level will be a huge issue this time around. Namely, simply completing the game’s Legendary difficulty campaign grants players items at 1520 power level, while 1530 is the Contest Mode cap this time around, meaning that going above 1530 won’t make a difference until 24 hours after the raid’s release.

It may also be worth remembering thatDestiny 2is currently experiencing memory leaks, which may crop up during the raid race. Since the raid race necessitates players going in completely blind, it can easily take hours of combat, traversal, and puzzle-solving until everything is cleared up and figured out. Bungie is yet to chime in on these problems, but the community is hoping that they won’t make a difference until theWitch Queenraid race is finished.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series platforms.
