So far, there’s been no comment from Tencent as to why the perk has been removed from the list. Some players are theorizing that it could be going through balancing changes, as by default, Overkill allows players to swap out their secondary weapons and instead equip an additional primary. It is common for players towield a combination of sniper rifle with an assault rifleas to have a weapon for any situation.

Overkill has disappeared but was quickly replaced on the list by the Restock perk, which is more of a utility perk, as it automatically recharges equipment over 25 seconds. Compared to Overkill, Restock is a much weaker perk that sees less use. This set of perks are all considered Tactical Perks and are usually the set that gets revisions due to balance concerns.

Still, there’s tons ofcontent coming toCall of Duty Mobile. The update is expected to include new operators, blueprints, and a special anniversary event side by side with the Halloween events. These events will introduce special game modes and cosmetics to the game making October afavored month forCall of Duty Mobilefans.

There are other changes to the perks that fans did notice after the update. Tactician was added which allows players the ability to carry an additional piece of tactical equipment. The final perk slot also saw a new addition as Launcher Plus has been added, giving players the ability to add a single reserve ammunition to all of their launchers.

More information on how to unlock the new perks will be available once the anniversary event begins. Till then, players must simply wait as theCall of Duty Mobiledevelopers slowly unveil their plansfor this time of year.
