As the hype around the fan-favorite FPS continues to build, Xbox users were unsurprisingly left confused when TheGamingRevolution discovered thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s official page on Xbox indicated only Xbox Series X as a platform for the game, leaving out the previous generation’s Xbox One. TheGamingRevolution later confirmed the game’s release on the PS4 platforms, which many took as the title not arriving on Xbox One in particular. Thankfully, Microsoft’s official Xbox website was updated and now correctly shows Xbox One as a viable platform.
The error had some fans concerned thatModern Warfare 3would be skipping PS4 and Xbox One, but now the title is confirmed to be coming to all platforms minus the Switch. Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard will seefutureCall of Dutygames come to Nintendo consoles, however.
