Sledgehammer and Treyarch look to double down on the successful multiplayer component with the game’s Season 1 update, which fixes known issues and delivers new content. Players have been able to track fixes throughModern Warfare 3’s Trello boardone at a time, but the latest update features hundreds of balance tweaks and corrections all at once.

Between multiplayer and Zombies modes, there are hundreds of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements across the board. The update brings balance changes to various weapons, improved spawn protection and locations, along with changes to XP and leveling, just to call out a few notes. Dozens of known issues have been resolved and each of the maps has received various improvements.
Additionally, Sledgehammer and Treyarch have addressed dozens of issues within theCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3Zombies mode. As part of the Season 1 update forModern Warfare 3,Zombies mode is receiving new story missions, Prestige challenges, and Wonder Weapons. This also comes alongside fixes to known issues that have plagued Zombies players to this point.
For example, a clip of aModern Warfare 3Zombies glitch ruining Exfilmade the rounds in the community recently, detailing an issue that has affected a ton of players. Essentially, through trolling and even accidental button presses, players have called down juggernauts and caused helicopters to explode. The frustrating glitch has ruined players' experiences in the Zombies mode, but this issue, along with dozens of others, has been addressed and fixed by the developers in the latest patch.
