Last week, Infinity Ward teased a new map and game mode forCall of Duty: Modern Warfarefor the next update. We now have confirmation that the new map, game mode, and other bonuses are going live inCall of Duty: Modern Warfarethroughout the week.

Thenew Gunfight map Bazaaris now live inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.Bazaar was originally set to launch alongsideModern WarfareSeason 2, but was delayed for unknown reasons. Even though fans had to wait a little bit longer to try out the map, Gunfight enthusiasts will no doubt be happy to have another map added to the rotation. Bazaar is a three lane map with more vertical elements to it than most Gunfight maps, which should help it stand out from the pack.

Meanwhile, Ground War players can try a new variant of the large-scale game mode. Dubbed Infantry Ground War, this new take onGround Wareliminates tanks from the equation, retaining smaller vehicles and focusing more on boots-on-the-ground action. Those that prefer traditional Ground War can still access it, however.

WhileCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers are trying this new content, they can also look forward to the upcomingDouble XPweekend.Call of Duty: Modern Warfarewill be Double XP from February 28 at 10am PT to March 2 at 10am PT, giving players a great opportunity to boost their Season 2 rank.

Those that play the traditionalCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremultiplayer modes will no doubt be happy to try new content, but some fans may be more interested in learning about the battle royale mode. Even though it’s been leaked and even directly teased at this point,Infinity Wardand Activision are still keeping tight-lipped on theModern WarfareWarzone battle royale mode. Rumors are that the mode will launch in just a matter of weeks, though, so perhaps more information will come soon.

OnceCall of Duty: Modern Warfareadds itsWarzone battle royale mode, there will be even more updates for fans to look forward to every week. Warzone will have challenges, and if it’s anything like traditional battle royales, its own Battle Pass and rewards to unlock as well. While fans wait for more news on that, they can check out this week’s new content in the meantime.
