Infinity Ward has done a good job sticking to their promise of weekly updates forCall of Duty:Modern Warfare, as was promised back when they announced Season One for the game.Though update 1.12 was just released, the team has already released an additional patch to fix some general issues that were lacking from that pretty substantial patch.
Though the fan base for the game has been pretty vocal about their many disappointments with the online landscape ofModern Warfare, Infinity Ward at least seems to be trying their best to remedy most of those complaints. This latest patch, though small, includes some general bug fixes and game tweaks, including a fix to the games updated Winter Docks map.

Since the holiday season is upon us, Modern Warfare seems to be embracing this holiday spirit andhas added nice little wintery easter eggs, like the updated Winter Docks map for the game’s Gunfight mode. This map is an updated version of the Docks map, but with an added coat of paint to embrace the holidays. The official patch list released by Infinity Ward reads as follows:
General Fixes:
Alongside fixes to the Winter Docks map, Infinity Ward made some general bug fixes and quality improvements to the game. Unfortunately, fans have found a major, potentiallygame-breaking issue with the game’s current spawn system. Some fans are reporting spawn issues so bad that players are racking up kills in the 150+ ranges per match in certain game modes.
Despite the many issues that seem to be plaguing the game’s online landscape,Modern Warfare’s multiplayer is still themost played of anyCall of Dutyin the series’ history. Obviously there is something that both brought many old fans of the franchise back again and appealed to new or returning players. The game’s review scores were unsurprisingly positive, but fans have been consistently vocal about their complaints with the game’s multiplayer since launch.
