Call of Duty: Warzonehas been a hit with players as it has brought the mechanics of the reboot ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfareto a battle royale game mode. Although there have been critics ofWarzone,the free-to-play mode has largely been acclaimed. However,Warzonehas had glitchesand it seems that a professional player has experienced an odd occurrence after being sent to the Gulag.
The Gulag adds pressure as it is where players who have been killed inWarzonefight to be redeployed on the map. With that in mind, this one on one battle is usually filled with tension, andglitches in this part ofWarzonehave led to anger. Recently one of the bestCall of Dutyplayers, Seth “Scump” Abner, encountered one of the most unique glitches in this part of the game.

While streaming, Scump was sent to the Gulag and immediately noticed something was off. While the introduction clip played the player was quickly returned to the map before coming back to the Gulag. When the one on one battle began, Scump was being affected by gas and lost health rapidly, which resulted in them losing the battle. While the opposition may have been fortunate and pleased with what seemed to be an easy win, Scump was visibly annoyed. It is unclear why this glitch happened and the replay of the death did not show gas but the gas was evident in the stream. This issue has likely happened to other players inCall of Duty: Warzonebut at the moment it seems to be a relatively rare incident.

There areplenty of changes inWarzonewith the introduction of season 4, but many players will hope that glitches like this are resolved as they will become a source of frustration if they reoccur. This issue may have come with the recent updates and the developer, Infinity Ward, could already know about it. Many fans will hope this is the case so that the issue can be resolved quickly and they can fight in the Gulag on a level playing field.
Call of Duty: Warzonehas managed to entertain players with its gameplay as well as its frequent updates. While many will hope thatWarzonecontinues to receive updatesthey will want existing problems addressed so that the gameplay remains enjoyable.
