The first three pagesDark Horseprovided IGN revolve around the three main cyberpunks' first meeting with their handler from the Valentinos gang. The last two pages in the set instead show off an adjacent story within the comic that centers on an old waitress in a stranded dinner who, while dealing with rowdy customers, receives news that a coworker of hers has killed herself.
LikeTrauma Teambefore it,You Have My Wordis aCyberpunk2077spin-off story, and therefore has no connection with the game’s main storyline. That said,Trauma Teambuilt upon the lore ofCyberpunk’s Trauma Team International, a company that uses any means necessary to provide their highest paying clients with top-notch medical care and transportation. You Have My Wordwill do the same, only its focus will likely be on expanding the relationship between the underworld and city council.
Trauma TeamestablishedCyberpunk 2077as avideo game franchise with a great comic book series,soYou Have My Wordshould be something to look forward to. It might not be a part of the main game at the moment, but there’s no reason to think that CD Projekt Red won’t adapt its characters and plots intoCyberpunk 2077in the future. The developer promised to bring more quests into the game through DLC, so it’s possible, and that would certainly give fans a reason to pick the comic up.
Cyberpunk 2077is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming 2021.
