Cyberpunk 2077gives players an unprecedented amount of freedom when creating their character, even going so far as to let them fully customize their character’s genitalia. Naturally, players seem to really enjoy playing with this part of the game, so many are wondering if there’s a way tochange a character’s appearancein the middle of a playthrough.
WhenCyberpunk 2077first launched, players only had the option to customize their character at the beginning of the game. But now, after the 1.5 patch for the next-gen version launch of the game, players have a way to customize their character’s appearance pretty much any time they want.

How to Change Character Appearance in Cyberpunk 2077
Soon after completing the first main mission withJackie in Night City, players will have access to V’s apartment for the first time. Here, players can go to their bathroom and interact with the mirror. From here, players can choose the option to change up their appearance or make their character do different facial expressions for some picture-taking. Players can also use the mirror in their safe house later inCyberpunk 2077’s story.
Even though players can customize their appearance in their apartment now, there are some things that cannot be changed, such as the player’s gender, voice type, and sexual parts.
Ina game built around the premise of cybernetic enhancements and body modification, it still seems bizarre that players cannot change their gender whenever they would like to.
There’s a silver lining to all this, and that’s thatCyberpunk 2077isprimarily a first-person game.The only time players will actually see their character is when they are in a menu, looking at a mirror, or driving in third person view. With that in mind, a player’s appearance may not really matter all that much, as even in cutscenes things are kept in the first-person perspective all throughout.
