A number of large, seemingly abandoned, machines dot the environment, and mysteries are sure to be locked away under sheets of ice. With 83 square kilometers of explorable area, there’s plenty players can look forward to discovering. A specific release date wasn’t included in the announcement, only the time frame of Fall 2024. With most areas in the Northern Hemisphere preparing for colder conditions as winter approaches, this could work in the game’s favor immersion-wise, further cementingDayZ’s status as a realistic survival game. It’s also right before the holiday season kicks off, allowing those with limited budgets to save for the DLC. More details, including price, are sure to be released as summer comes to a close.
While there have been a number of smaller content releases, including new weapons, to the title,Frostlineis only the second large expansion forDayZ.It still has a consistent player base, allowingDayZto remain one of the best co-op zombie gameson the market.
