Destiny 2players are getting ready for the next major chapter of the popular multiplayer game.Lightfallwill introduce a new story, new gear, and new cosmetics, and has already added an exotic auto rifle called Quicksilver Storm toDestiny 2. But not everything with theDestinyecosystem is running smoothly, as demonstrated by Bungie’s removal of Quicksilver Storm from raids and dungeons due to a bug.
Quicksilver Storm is acquired by preorderingLightfall. The weapon fires homing rockets at targets once players have hit more than one enemy. This could be incredibly beneficial for PvE encounters, which is why it’s unfortunate that the auto rifle has been disabled in dungeons and raids.

In a recent Twitter post, Bungie Help notes that the Quicksilver Storm rifle is unavailable in raids because of an unknown issue. Many players rushed to the comments, wondering why the gun was removed from some of theDestiny’smost popular activities. Some have stated that the weapon was disabled because it was doing extreme damage and making gameplay unfair. While Bungie has yet to confirm anything, gamers will need to wait patiently for the issues to be fixed and hope that this isn’t indicative of futureDestiny 2: Lightfallcontent.
The Quicksilver Storm is only a small peek at the content coming inDestiny’snext expansion.Lightfallplays on the nostalgia ofDestinywith new looks at classic locations, iconic enemies, and a climactic next step in the story of the Guardians. The DLC followsThe Witch Queen, which delivered one of the bestDestinycampaigns and boss fights in recent years. Though the issue with Quicksilver Storm is unfortunate, the footage fromLightfall’scampaign looks fascinating. Regardless of the exotics,Destinyfans expect high quality story content from the title’s expansions, especially in the wake of a few great campaign moments.
Lightfallis changing bringing more than just a new story to experience, though.New buffs forDestiny 2fireteams, a unique subclass, and seasonal content are all coming to the title with the next major update. There will also be an additional location added and, as always, a new raid. In short, thoughDestinyis having some problems at the moment, players have a lot to look forward to. Indeed, since the title launched, Bungie has steadily been improving gameplay and content to create an epic experience for their dedicated community of fans.
