In the aftermath of the recentDestiny 2live event featuringThe Almighty’s real-time destruction to end Season of the Worthy, fans of Bungie’s popular shooter are waiting to find out more about what’s coming next through an announcement being made tomorrow that was first teased with a trailer last week. However, an early Australian PlayStation Store listing may have given away some of the surprise.
The information has since been removed from the store listing, but the Internet was quick to catalog it for posterity. One Reddit user named xYaW paid particular attention to an informational blurb on the page specifying that to playDestiny 2, “105 GB hard drive storage space” will be “required as of August 11, 2025,” and saved an image to the r/raidsecrets subreddit dedicated to secrets, glitches, and more inDestiny.

As of this writing, the PlayStation Store says that the 105 GB storage requirement is needed by June 15, 2025, the release date ofDestiny 2’s stand-alone Shadowkeep expansion. Thus it is assumed that the next expansion will be available by September 22, but of course, any eager fans should at least wait to get official confirmation from Bungie before setting aside money right now.
The Australian PlayStation Store leak revealed more than just the potential release date forDestiny 2’s next big expansion. A new bundle was also published early, letting the world know thatSeason 11 will likely be called Season of the Arrivals,featuring some kind of alien invasion that may be related to the Hive faction. That bundle will also provide players with 1,700 silver to use at the Eververse microtransaction store according to the leaked information.
Season 11 inDestiny 2will bring other adjustments to the table, such as making iteasier to acquire the One Thousand Voices and Anarchy exotic weaponsby buffing the drop rate each subsequent time a player completes their respective raids; Last Wish and Scourge of the Past. Between updates such as these and seeing where the game’s story will go following its live event, there should be a lot to keep players coming back.
The promise of a new expansion possibly arriving in September is also something for fans to look forward to, even if impending changes like the announcedsunsetting of certain loot dropshave rubbed many the wrong way. All should be revealed with Bungie’s event tomorrow, so it won’t be long until these leaks are either confirmed or not.
