Since it was first released in 2017,Destiny 2has delivered content to players in many forms. From DLCs to new weapons and subclasses, the title has worked to make gamers feel excited to continue playing. But some of the activities inDestiny 2are in dire need of a revamp. Aside from the occasional map refresh,Destiny’scrucible has remained largely the same for years. Throughbuffs like those to Le Monarquecan make gameplay more interesting, players are still hungry for more. The same can be said for the Vanguard Ops playlist, which could benefit from new content.
Fortunately, there are many simple ways that Bungie could go about introducing more content, aside from newDLCs andDestinysubclasses. In fact, aDestiny 2fan on Reddit has pointed out that some of the currentDestinycontent would be perfect for the Vanguard Ops playlist.

Reddit user RazuriRapisu recently posted to theDestiny 2subreddit, saying that Vanguard Ops might be better with content that was added into the title with theShadowkeepexpansion. The DLC, for players that don’t know, added Nightmare and Empire Hunts to the title. The PvE modes are pleasantly challenging and, most importantly, interesting. There are eight Nightmare Hunts and three Empire Hunts inDestiny 2which could add a lot of fun variety to the Vanguard Ops playlist.
Indeed, thoughDestinybrings new content to players with every season, there are a few activities that have been neglected. The free events, like Crucible and Vanguard Ops, don’t seem to be as important to developers as the seasonal content is.The Nightmare Hunts inDestiny 2could help players feel as though there is more diversity to the playlists in-game. Though the Hunts might not solve the problems thatDestinyfans are seeing, they could certainly make the title more entertaining for long-time players.
Of course, the dedicated fans ofDestinydon’t play the game because they enjoy Vanguard Ops. Many players simply love the world thatDestinyhas conjured and are excited to see the story evolve throughfutureDestiny 2seasons and expansions. As the FPS title moves toward the next big DLC,Lightfall, and to the subsequent conclusion of theDestiny 2story, players can hope for updates to some of the standard activities but should not be surprised, however, if Bungie decides to focus on the campaign that millions of players are excited to continue.
Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
