ADiablo 4player has recently decided to engage in a very curious task: exploring all the Cellars in the game ten times each, and has now shared their findings.Diablo 4gamers are now discovering new, unexpected challenges as they reach high levels, and this player took this self-imposed task to a whole new level.
Cellars inDiablo 4are hidden locations that can only be seen in the minimap when the player gets close to them. They are not proper dungeons, as they’re often super small, and are mostly shaped as basements, mines, and tunnels. However, they’re also often inhabited by only a single type of monster, so can be considered decent farming spots when someone is specifically looking for one kind of enemy.

A gamer called MrFrodoBeggins has just shared their findings after exploring 1,270 Cellars inDiablo 4. This player was leveling their secondBarbarian inDiablo 4when they had a novel idea: to explore each Cellar in the game ten times and track the whole experience. According to MrFrodo, the whole stunt took three days, and they were able to farm over 72 million XP (enough to go from level 84 to 89), obtain 80 million gold, 200 Legendary items, and 13 Unique items, as well as 6,352 Murmuring Obols. During this time, the player also had a few powerful insights: they actually enjoyed visiting zombie-themed Cellars, and they also believe that exploring all of these basements is the most useless activity in the game, as they could simply have gotten the experience much faster by grinding somewhere else.
Curiously, MrFrodoBeggins only foundDiablo 4’s most frightening boss the Butcherthree times during all this time playing. In the comments of the Reddit post, most gamers were pretty surprised by the low frequency with which the dreadful boss appeared. UmbrellaCorpCEO, on the other hand, said the OP was really lucky, as fighting the Butcher in such a small “cardboard box” space would be terrible, and they would probably lose.
As more and more players exploreDiablo 4’s endgame, they are having several opinions about it. For instance, some players are currentlydisappointed withDiablo 4’s dungeon design. A few days ago, some of them complained that most of the game’s dungeons are very linear, and often feel very restrictive in many ways. It seems that, after their arduous three-day journey, MrFrodoBeggins proved that the same could be said about the Cellars.
Diablo 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
