In a recent YouTube stream,Dr Disrespecttold his viewers that he doesn’t believeCall of Duty: Warzone 2’s upcoming Season 2 update will “save” the game. Dr Disrespect has always been a harsh critic ofCall of Duty: Warzoneand its sequel, and many other games, for that matter. Yet theYouTubestream keeps going back to the battle royale, playing with other content creators like TimTheTatman. It’s perhaps unsurprising Dr Disrespect doesn’t think his opinion will change with the upcoming patch.
Frankly, Dr Disrespect andCall of Duty: Warzonedon’t have a healthy relationship. The YouTube streamer has said he isquittingCall of Duty: Warzoneon multiple occasions, has insulted its developers and player base, and has even been banned due to in-game chat toxicity. Yet Dr Disrespect keeps coming back toCall of Duty: Warzone, either due to secretly enjoying the game or because it’s what his viewers want to see him play.

During a recent broadcast, Dr Disrespect had a particularly disappointing session. He wasplaying with both TimTheTatman and FaZe Doozyand to say he was struggling at times would be an understatement. After one particularly frustrating elimination, Dr Disrespect offered his thoughts regarding whetherCall of Duty: Warzone 2would be improved with the upcoming Season 2 update. Needless to say, Dr Disrespect was not confident he’d enjoy the game any more than usual after the patch.
After stating that he can’t be “drained” any more with regard toCall of Duty: Warzone 2, Dr Disrespect says that he doesn’t believe the patch “fixes much.” He thinks that he’ll come back after the update, get a little excited, and then have it die out again. “I just don’t see this game working out,” says Dr Disrespect, which he describes is due to having a lack of faith in the designers' vision.
Dr Disrespect does say that he much prefers the design vision of Treyarch, and seems to imply heprefers the originalCall of Duty: Warzoneto its sequel. Dr Disrespect is certainly unhappy with the changes that were made inCall of Duty: Warzone 2. However, Dr Disrespect was harshly critical ofCall of Duty: Warzone, too.
Ultimately, as ever with Dr Disrespect, viewers and fans should take what he says with a grain of salt. The YouTube streamer is known for at-times controversial content, and his character expresses himself through video game rage at times.What Dr Disrespect actually thinks ofCall of Duty: Warzone 2could be wildly different than what he shares on-screen.The bigger question is whether fans considerDr Disrespect’s opinions entertaining or not.
