Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotwill feature the Z Sword, obtained by Gohan in theBuu Saga, and it will also have a Community System feature. TheDragon Ball Z: KakarotCommunity System will let players collect items called Soul Emblems by completing quests. These emblems can then be placed on the Community Board, which will enhance players' stats. Further details on theDragon Ball Z: Kakarotcommunity system are unavailable at this time, but it seems pretty straightforward.

The Soul Emblems will be based on specific characters, so it sounds like players will get them from helping characters with their side quests.Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotside quests will range from amusing filler, like the driving side quest, to ones that genuinely expand on the lore, like the one about thefemale Ginyu Force member. It’s possible that Soul Emblems will be earned through main quests instead (or maybe through both), but we won’t know for sure until Bandai Namco decides to reveal more details.

With the Kid Buu boss fight confirmed, it solidifies the fact thatDragon Ball Z: Kakarotwill feature the entireDragon Ball Zstoryline. Players will be able to experience theSaiyan Sagaall the way through the Buu Saga, with plenty of side quests to complete along the way. Whether or not it remains consistently entertaining throughout remains to be seen, but fans will find out ifDragon Ball Z: Kakarotlives up to the hype when it launches early next year.
