Although Messmer himself is still an imposing figure in the artwork, there’s no doubt that the presence of two small snakes in top hats makes him a little less scary. A sequel is possible, but FromSoftware has yet to confirm its next project at the moment. Recently,George R.R. Martin commented onElden Ringmovie / TV adaptation rumors, and it seems plausible that the IP might next return in another medium entirely.
