Enshroudedis an intriguing survival-crafting RPG where players must learn to survive in the ruined kingdom of Embervale. Similar toother survival-crafting RPGs, players need to go out into the unknown and gather resources to craft essential tools and weapons and build shelters to survive in a harsh environment. Players have the freedom to build anything they desire, as long as they have the right materials for it.

Updated by Usama Ali on Jul 31, 2025:Enshrouded’s Patch #4, also known as the Souls of the Frozen Frontier update, has added a ton of new features and content to the game. From an entirely new biome to a dynamic weather system and animal companions, Enshrouded players are going to have the time of their lives exploring the frozen wilderness and facing the challenges that lie ahead. Since Enshrouded is mainly a base-building game, the new update also introduces new building blocks and crafting recipes. We’ve updated this guide with all the new building blocks in Enshrouded so that you may start building your dream base in the snowy mountains.
All Building Blocks in Enshrouded
Enshrouded’s Souls of the Frozen Frontier update introduced six new building blocks. As of Patch #4, players now have access to 44 regular building blocks inEnshrouded.
The table below can help players learn how to get the crafting recipe for each of the blocks as well as the materials required.
Unlocks after getting Luminous Growth for the first time

Complete the “Searching for Hidden Tombs” quest and visit a hidden tomb north of the Springlandsto unlock

Complete the “Fortification” quest in Pikeman’s Reach and visit the Mining Rift to unlock
