There is a long list of events that can be completed inFallout 76.Some can be activated by the player, while others happen randomly. Each different event comes with its own set of rewards. Whether it’s ammo, plans, weapons, or achance at getting a piece of rare apparel, there’s a lot that players can get their hands on while completing events in Appalachia.
Certain events are worth starting or keeping an eye out for. From Radiation Rumble and Eviction Notice to Scorched Earth and Heart Of The Swamp, some events offer much better rewards than others.
1Riding Shotgun
Protect A Caravan As It Goes Through The Big Bend Tunnel
Riding Shotgun is an event that players can trigger by talking to Vinny Costa outside Big Bend Tunnel East. The quest doesn’t notify other players when active, which makes it a fairly well-hidden event.
It can be triggered once every 45 minutes on a server. This event is easy to complete. It rewards players with Treasury Notes, which usually can only be obtained through public events or nuked events. It also has achance of awarding the player with Blue Ridge apparel and plans. It is the only event in the game that players can get Blue Ridge apparel from.
2Encrypted
Destroy An Impostor Sheepsquatch
Encrypted is an event that is almost impossible to complete alone. However, it is a popular event that players typically flock to when it is available. It is a player-started event. It can be started after completing theWolf in Sheep’s Clothing questline. The player will also need to craft an Assaultron Recall Keycard to start the event.
The event not only awards players a large amount of XP, but it also has the chance to drop the Fixer plan. While it’s not as rare as it once was, the Fixer plan is still highly sought-after. Players who complete the event are also awarded with an Improved Repair kit and a chance at receiving some rare Impostor Sheepsquatch apparel.
3Moonshine Jamboree
Defend The Stills And Help Make Moonshine
This event is one that most players will go to when it’s available. It is a random event that has a chance of starting and is fantastic for XP. It is also a public event, meaning that it’s free to fast-travel.
Players need to collect Venom while protecting three distillers for four rounds. Each round lasts two minutes and spawns in an endless wave of high-level enemies. Gulpers, Ghouls, Fog Crawlers, and more.These offer great XP to players. Also, upon completing the event, players areawarded between four and six Treasury Notesalong with a nice mix of consumable goodies.
4Heart Of The Swamp
The Strangler Monster Infestation
This public event is always worth joining. It can be completed in just a couple of minutes, making it a great event for those looking for quick XP. It awards players with three Treasury Notes, some aid items, a plan, and a small chance to receive the most highly sought-after apparel item in the game,the Tattered Field Jacket.
This event triggers randomly. It is worth noting that players should join the event as soon as it pops up because it is a popular event that doesn’t take long to complete. Since it can be completed in as little as a couple of minutes, players should attempt to get to the event as fast as possible to ensure that they get rewarded for participating.
5Eviction Notice
Evict Super Mutants, Farm Legendary Items
This event is a must for all players.It is the best event in the game for farming legendary items.Once all the meat bags are destroyed, lots of Legendary Super Mutants will start spawning. Not only is this a great event for Legendary items, but it is also great for XP gain.
Upon completing Eviction Notice, players will receive between four and six Treasury Notes, five Legendary Cores, a mix of chems, ammo, and the chance to receive aspecial Legendary weapon.
6Scorched Earth
The Original Final Boss
Scorched Earth is a public event that can be triggered bylaunching a nuke over the Fissure Prime location. Once it is dropped, the Scorchbeast Queen will come out to fight. Completing this event will award the player with XP, 200 Caps, Improved Repair Kits, Ultracite, Flux, and much more.For a long time, it was the event with the best rewards.
However, this has since changed due to new events being added to the game. It is always a great event to join, especially for low-level players, as it can help them to level up quickly.
7A Colossal Problem
Take Down Earl Williams For Big Loot
This is another public event that can be triggered by launching a nuke. If aplayer launches a nukeover Monogah Mine, it will start A Colossal Problem. Not only does this event offer great rewards and a large amount of XP, but it is the best place to farm screws. The place is filled to the brim with Wendigos, and each one can drop up to eleven screws. If done correctly, a player can expect to gain a couple of hundred loose screws by the time the event is over.
As for the other rewards, it offers the highest amount of Treasury Notes for a single event. CompletingA Colossal Problem will award players with eight Treasury Notes.Add that to the XP gained from killing Wendigos and the generic loot that will be awarded for completing the event and this becomes one of the best events for rewards in all ofFallout 76.
8Radiation Rumble
The Uranium Gold Mine
The Radiation Rumble event offers the best rewards in the game. It is also the best event for grinding XP. It is a randomly triggered event. But when it triggers, all players should attend. Bringing a Tesla Rifle or an Explosive weapon is the best for tagging enemies. Each enemy tagged awards players with extra XP. If the event is completed with all four scavengers still alive, then players receive a small chance of getting the plan for theRadiation Barrel or the Emmett Mountain Hazmat Suit.
Players will also receive four Treasury Notes, some aid items, and more. But the best reward for completing this event is all the XP that can be gained from tagging all the enemies during the event.
