There are a whole bunch of different game modes inExoprimal. Some are PvE, while others are PvP only. One of the many game modes that players can find themselves a part of is called Omega Charge. While Omega Charge challenges players to race against another team, it is a PvE game mode.

Players will have to take on waves upon waves ofdifferentExoprimaldinosaurs, killing them all in order to charge up a hammer to smash through devices and obstacles. Most of the game modes inExoprimalare pretty straightforward, but getting the hammer to work in Omega Charge can be a bit of a challenge.

Omega Charge in Exoprimal

Omega Charge is a unique mode that challenges players to charge up a Hammer device to destroy obstacles. It is one of the seven differentgame modes currently inExoprimal. Players can access this game mode by selecting either PvE or a combination of PvE and PvP when selecting Dino Survival or Wargames. It will come up randomly as a section of the current War Game.

The first time anExoprimalplayer gets Omega Charge, they will get a brief description of how to use the hammer, but unfortunately, it isn’t super helpful. It will tell players to charge the hammer by killing dinosaurs when in their possession, then it will say to “interact” with the targets once it is full. It does not tell the player how to know it is full or how to interact.

How to Use the Hammer in Exoprimal

In order to charge the hammer in Omega Charge, players have to pick up the hammer, then kill dinosaurs andneosaurs inExoprimaluntil the hammer is “full.” It will give off a brighter purple glow when it is ready to be used. Then, walk up to the obstacle, and press the interact key.

Press and hold interact until the meter fills up in front of the target; this will attack the item with the hammer and destroy it. Be careful; using the interact button in other locations will waste the charge meant for the smashable objects.

Then, players will need to look for the next objective to hit. If players lose the hammer for any reason, like dying or dropping it, the charge will reset from the beginning.

Exoprimalis available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
