Fall Guysdeveloper Mediatonic is continuing to make good with the community and listen to all the feedback coming its way. AfterFall Guyslaunched to a shaky start, the developer behind the deceivingly cute battle royale game is adding more and more quality of life changes to keep players happy. A new update toFall Guyshas one feature that is gaining overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community.
After launching on PC and PlayStation 4, eager fans flocked to the unique battle royale game in waves which caused the game’s servers to overload immediately. While the sales numbers forFall Guyswas great news for Mediatonic, the downside is that the developer did not anticipate over8 million PS4 playerstrying to get into the game. Fans have been pretty vocal about cross-play forFall Guysand other changes they would like to see from the PC version to the PlayStation 4 version of the game. This latest update seems to be the first step in merging the two platforms as Mediatonic is bringing the once PC-only Valve skins for characters to the PS4, which presumably would be the Gordon Freeman, Alyx, andTeam FortressScout outfits. However,Fall Guysdoesn’t have cross-progression at the moment, so fans who own the Valve skins on PC will presumably need to buy them again on PS4.
Another positive update coming toFall Guysis addressing those dreaded team games. Fans have been asking for fewer team games throughout aFall Guysmatch and those wishes have been granted. Team games are said to be the bane of some player’s existence as they can be rather frustrating if other teammates aren’t pulling their weight to advance to the next round. In some instances, unlucky players would fall into back-to-back team games but the new update forFall Guysis preventing that situation from happening. The next step for Mediatonic seems to be toremove the Yellow Team from Fall Guysas the fan base has a weird grudge against that color specifically.
Mediatonic is doing a fantastic job updatingFall Guysand keeping its player base happy even if the release of the game has been fairly bumpy since day one. In an attempt to win players over and apologize for the mishaps of the game, Mediatonic has dished out afree outfit forFall Guysand 5,000 Kudos, which is the currency used in the game. Fortunately, the game has been running pretty smoothly since the initial player bombardment and servers are holding up asFall Guysgains more and more players every day.
