InFar Cry 6, the Criptograma Chests are special caches that can only be opened after finding their respective charts. Looting these chests gives gear that can’t be bought at the Guerrilla Garrison. There are a total of 15 Criptograma Chests and 30 Criptograma Charts inFar Cry 6.
Criptograma Charts can’t be tracked via objective markers, but players can track them down by listening. Each Criptograma Chest (and Chart) give off a jingle that sounds like wind chimes. When looking for the Charts, follow blue Guerrilla markings (ex: a blue key in a box, or blue eye) to indicate where the charts may be hidden. Collecting all Charts and Chests will unlock the"That’s Puzzling" Achievement/Trophy.

Isla Santuario
The first chest can be found on Isla Santuario,the starting placeinFar Cry 6. Specifically, it’s locateda bit northwest (Quito) of Armoniain a fenced-off area.

#06 Royal Palm
To the right of the house on the wall at the end of a tunnel.
There arefour Criptograma Chartsin Madrugada territory.
El Dorado Cabins
Location:The second Criptograma Chest can be found at the El Dorado Cabins inCosta Del MarnearSerpentino Park. Grapplehook up the watchtower and inspect the chest.
Look for abuoy with a blue ringand follow the blue graffiti to the charts. Both charts can be found in the same location.
On a small island south of the watchtower.
Poesia
Location:Go to the Aguda Cliffs in Costa Del Mar. The chest itself ison the southern docksto the south. To reach the Criptograma charts, use a jet ski and follow theblue arrowsout to the little island. Dani will need to use the grapplehook.
On the cliffside near the lighthouse.
Verdera
Location:The chest is on the north side of Verderaon top of a billboard near a gas station. Verdera is located in Lozania near Monjas Valley.

#16 El Trompo
On one of the rooftops around Verdera. Look for blue guerrilla markings.
Follow the blue guerrilla markings to one of Verdera’s rooftops.
Ida’s Refuge
Location:Ida’s Refuge is located in Aguas Lindas, while its Criptograma Chest is on the docksnear theWater Vehicle Spawn Point. Players will need to take a jet ski out to the little island to find the first chart (north), and then another jet ski to reach the second (east).
On the north side of the small hill.
#28 Yaran Queen Butterfly
In the water near the dock with blue and orange markings. Beware of sharks.
There arefour Criptograma Chestsin Valle de Oro.
Feroza
Location:The Criptograma Chest is at Feroza inDiamante Lakes of Balaceras. If players are in the right place, they should be looking at a construction yard with multiple shipping containers. The Charts arehidden behind wooden pallets, so smash those with the machete or shoot them.

#04 Starfish
In the driver’s side of a destroyed car near a box with a blue pole.
Inside a shipping container behind a wooden pallet.
Segunda
Location:Look for a watchtower in the fields and climb up to find the Criptograma Chart. This is northwest of Segunda in Arroz Flatlands of Cruz Del Salvados.
#13 Cat
Follow the arrow pointing northeast to a blue irrigation system. Shoot the wooden pallet and dive down to reach the cat chart on the wall.
#29 Soursop
Return back to the arrows and follow the other one (southeast). Shoot the wooden pallet and go down the ladder to get to the other chart.
Cielo
Location:The chest is at the bottom of a tower in the Cielo Watchtower Ruins in Noventarmas.
#09 Tarantula
Use the grapplehook on the tower with the chest. Climb up the vines with the orange flowers to get to the first Criptograma Chart.
#26 Boxing Gloves
Use the wingsuit (or parachute) to reach the tower at the west. Another option is to land and dive down where the blue guerrilla eyeball indicates.
#17 Coin
Look inside the nearby cave next to the Criptograma Chest. Break the orange netting with an explosive or shoot at it to destroy the blockage. Swim inside to find a dock with the chart on it.
#20 Mamey Sapote
Look to the left of the fishing spot and the second Criptograma Chart is located below the boathouse.
El Este
People’s Pride Clinic
Location:The chest is on the rooftop of People’s Pride Clinic in the Dorada Cove.
#18 Cigar
On the roof of one of the apartments in Sendrowski Housing Blocks. Grapple up the building from the south side, then zipline over the courtyard to the north side. Look for an orange chair with the chart.
#21 Croco Taxi
From the first chart, go to the north apartment complex. At the back of the building is an awning that leads to the roof. Climb up this to find the Croco Taxi chart.
#14 Horse
Walk along the docks or swim to the north cabin (marked with a blue arrow pointing left) near the bass fishing spot.
#30 Domino
On a shack to the west. Follow the guerrilla arrow on the cabin with the first chart.
#07 El Cocodrilo
Break the door to the shack on the west side of Higado Lake.
#27 Tocororo
To the southeast of the first chart is a smaller shack. The chart is stuck to the wall.
Concepcion
Location:On the rooftop of a building with a grapplehook indicator in Concepcion.
#05 Machete
Follow the arrows and leap from the building with the chest to a smaller building. Drop down into the courtyard and look for a lit stall with the chart.
#24 Chalice
From the #05 Machete Chart, go up the stairs and to the roof. Take the zipline to the other side of the roof and follow the graffiti.
Esperanza
Arguably the most dangerous and complex Criptograma Chests to loot. The best way to get these is bystaying out of sight of FND soldiers. Cause enough chaos and the Heat Meter will call on Anton’s forces to go after Dani. Equip gear that muffles movement noise or something that makes Dani sprint quicker.
Siete Pájaros Apartments
Location:In West Lado in an alleyway near the Siete Pajaros Apartments.
#08 Car Clásico
Turn left and use the grapple to get to the second floor. Climb the ladder, follow the graffiti at the right, and the first chart can be found on a balcony.
#15 El Flamenco
From this chart, use the zipline at the right. Go across the balcony and climb the vines (orange flowers) and the second chart should be on the wall.
Location:In the courtyard of La Divinidad Cathedral. Follow the grapplehook (near red graffiti) up to the rooftops. Then, leap across rooftops to the blue guerrilla markings. The chest itself can be found behind a wall with blue graffiti.
#02 La Guitarra
Follow the blue cloth to get to another roof and then jump across to reach the cathedral. Grab the chart on the wall.
#11 Rum
Enter the cathedral through the door near the first chart. Hug the walls to reach the door on the other side and use the grapple hook if Dani falls. After this, there is another rooftop that can be reached by climbing, so jump over to it. The final chart is on the wall.
Since La Divinidad Cathedral is an FND Base, it’s easier (and recommended) to liberate it before looking for the Criptograma Charts/Chests. This goes for any other Criptograma Charts that are originally found at FND Bases.
