It is not only important for players onFIFAto be able to hold the ball, but to gain the ball back. Interceptions is an important attribute that affects how easy it is for a player to dispossess an opponent of the ball. All of thebestFIFA 23defensive midfielderswill need this attribute.

Players should aim for 60-70 interceptions in the youth players they find, particularly if the player is in a defensive position across the Defense and Midfield roles. Over time, this attribute will rise through training drills and good match performances.
