As Clorinde’s kit makes good use of the Bond of Life mechanic, players should focus on maintaining Bond of Life on her at all times to maximize her damage and healing multipliers and keep the Electro infusion on her normal attacks. She benefits greatly from a4-piece set of Fragment of Harmonic Whims, which boosts her damage as her Bond of Life value changes. However, for players who prefer not to farm this specific artifact set with optimal stats, alternatives likeGladiator’s Finale or Thundering Furyare also quite useful.
Thundering Fury can reduce the cooldown of her skill, allowing for longer field time, which is particularly beneficial in Aggravate teams with astrong off-field Dendro applier like Nahida.However, for players who prefer frequent character swapping, it might not be the best option. Gladiator’s Finale, on the other hand, increases her ATK and normal attack damage, making it an easy-to-maintain and beginner-friendly option since it’s been available since the start of the game.
Other viable options includeMarechaussee Hunter,especially if paired with Furina, orEchoes of an Offering, which, while not as optimal as the previous sets, still provides decent benefits for Clorinde. Ultimately, the best artifact choice depends on the team composition, as sets like Thundering Fury versus Gladiator’s Finale can significantly impact performance in different situations.
For main stats, players should aim for ATK% on the Sands, Electro DMG Bonus on the Goblet, and Crit DMG or Crit Rate on the Circlet. Given that Clorinde gains Crit Rate with her ascension bonus, the choice between Crit DMG and Crit Rate on the Circlet should depend on the weapon used. Sub-stats should focus on Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Energy Recharge (which is less crucial ifusing a battery character like Fischl), ATK%, and Elemental Mastery for specific compositions like Aggravate.

Clorinde greatly benefits from weapons that enhance her critical damage and overall damage output, given her DPS role. While Crit Rate weapons are also considerable if their passive is quite fitting, its worth noting that due to her Ascension Crit Rate, they can have some Crit Value loss, if players are not able to optimize the artifact sub-stats in particular. Overall however,most of her 5-star options perform quite similarly, and ultimately the decision can be made based on which options they have access to.
Absolution, her signature weapon, is particularly strong with its Crit DMG substat and passive ability that increases damage when the Bond of Life value increases as well as further increasing the Crit DMG, making her attacks more potent.Mistsplitter ReforgedandLight of Foliar Incisionare excellent alternatives, both offering Crit DMG substats and additional damage bonuses that complement her Electro-infused attacks.
Haran Geppakku Futsuis another strong option, and on paper technically better than Mistsplitter Reforged or Light of Foliar Incision, boosting Crit Rate and providing an Elemental DMG bonus as well as Normal ATK bonus, though players should be careful not to overemphasize Crit Rate due to Clorinde’s ascension bonuses. Similarly,Primordial Jade Cutteralso offers a Critical Rate % substat and increases both her HP and attack power based on this HP, enhancing her survivability and synergywith the Bond of Life mechanic. Though its worth noting that Bond of Life mechanic is not based on HP value, but it is a certain percentage of her HP, so adding HP to Clorinde doesn’t technically allow her to gain more Bond of Life value.
For players looking for a more accessible option,The Black Swordis an excellent 4-star choice if they purchase Battle Pass, increasing Crit Rate and providing a healing effect on critical hits which can be converted to Bond of Life, which helps further for Clorinde’s DMG. Otherwise the craftable weaponFinale of the Deepis also noteworthy, with an ATK % substat and a passive that boosts attack power and synergizes with the Bond of Life mechanic, making it a reliable free-to-play option.
