TheImaginarium Theater inGenshin Impactis considered an alternative to Spiral Abyss, and its inaugural phase is expected to start in Version 4.7. Players will be able to unlock custom Photo Mode poses for certainGenshin Impactcharacters, and will also be awarded an ample sum of Primogems for clearing the Imaginarium Theater for the first time. While most fans expected to see new Photo Mode poses as Imaginarium Theater rewards, it would seem that HoYoverse is planning to offer a bigger variety of cosmetics to players for engaging with the new gameplay mode.
In avideo submitted by Gura Leaks, players can see the new Trail Appearances that are obtainable via the Imaginarium Theater in Version 4.8. These Trail Appearances are a new type of character customization currently made available to fiveGenshin Impactcharacters: Diluc, Jean, Kirara, Qiqi, and Ningguang. They are visual effects that are triggered whenever the player is moving and are designed to fit each character’s aesthetic. For example, whereas Diluc is followed by fiery feathers, Jean leaves a trail of dandelions in her wake. The effects appear to be subtle, and not at all distracting.
Genshin Impact Characters With a Trail Appearance in Version 4.8
Though it remains to be seen if HoYoverse will add more Trail Appearances in Natlan and beyond,Version 4.8 ofGenshin Impactis expected to be a feature-heavy patch, boasting plenty of new cosmetics, a temporary zone, and several quality-of-life changes. It will also mark the debut of Emilie, a very potent 5-Star Dendro unit that is poised to transform the Burning reaction, and even provide an alternative to Xiangling in Pyro teams. While there is always a chance that HoYoverse will change her ability kit during the beta, first impressions amongGenshin Impactplayers are exceptionally positive.
WhileEmilie inGenshin Impactwill feature on the Event Banners for Version 4.8, its true star appears to be Kirara, who will not only have a new Trail Appearance and alternate skin but will also play a major role in the Flagship Event of the patch. Kirara is considered to be one of the best teammates for Clorinde, so players who have managed to pull the Champion Duelist of Fontaine should keep an eye out for Version 4.8.
