Though the majority of leaked characters come from the nation of Fontaine, Liyue seems to be getting a fair bit of love as well. It remains to be seen if HoYoverse throws the oft-neglectedGeo element inGenshin Impacta bone, but players can expect to see at least one Geo character over the course of Version 4.0.
Before the gates of Fontaine open their doors to the player, they can look forward to a new temporary zone in Version 3.8 ofGenshin Impact, as well as a flagship story that will heavily feature Klee and Eula as the main characters. Among other things, it will also expand on one the game’s original 4-Stars, asKaeya will be getting a new skin, and an official hangout event. With a release window for Version 3.8 centered around mid-July, players won’t have to wait long after that to see the nation of Fontaine and its cast of characters.
