Summary
As Version 4.5 nears launch on March 13,Genshin Impactplayers can already have a reliable overview of the full slate of events coming in Version 4.6. WhileGenshin Impacthas had a memorable slew of Flagship Events over the course of its history, from a gameplay perspective, they often represent the main source of Primogems that players can obtain aside from completing daily commissions. Though there’s a small likelihood that the Flagship Event of Version 4.6 will match the generosity of the Lantern Rite, it is still expected to be a content-heavy patch.
Version 4.6 will introduce Arlecchino toGenshin Impact, as she is set to become the third Fatui Harbinger to join the cast of playable characters. However, unlike Version 4.5, the patch is also set to debut a new Fontaine zone wedged between the deserts of Sumeru and the ruins of Khaenri’ah. On top of the map expansion, Version 4.6 will feature two new artifact sets, a weekly boss, and presumably a Story Quest for Arlecchino.
However, thanks to the information provided by Hexenzirkel,Genshin Impactplayers now have an idea of what major events will accompany the evergreenworld map content of Version 4.6. The leak wasshared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subredditby ukrisreng, a regular contributor in the community, and it speaks of yet another Itto event coming to the Fontaine patch cycle. Tentatively translated as “Arataki Life Rock Rainbow Grand Tour,” it will seemingly be the Flagship Event of Version 4.6.
Given that Inazuma has yet to have a physical presence in a Flagship Event since the launch of Fontaine, manyGenshin Impactplayers speculate that Version 4.6 will give the Electro Nation its deserved time in the spotlight. Following a similar train of thought, withGenshin Impact’s Version 4.5focusing on Mondstadt, there is a high likelihood that Version 4.7 will revolve around Sumeru and its popular cast of characters, such as Cyno, Alhaitham, Tighnari, and Kaveh.
Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Events
Traditionally, Flagship Events either award players a free 4-Star weapon, or a free4-Star character inGenshin Impact. For Version 4.6, it will be the latter, given the pattern of recent updates. It’s important to note that while the Chronicled Banner will be present in Version 4.5 during its first half, it will likely skip Version 4.6 entirely. UnlessGenshin Impactplayers can guarantee their chosen character, it’s advisable to save Primogems and Intertwined Fates for the Event Banners coming in Version 4.6, as the Chronicled Banner does not share pity.
