With Rockstar Games not even acknowledging its existence, fans are hungry forGrand Theft Auto 6news. It’s been seven years since the last main seriesGrand Theft Autogame launched, and the wait forGTA 6doesn’t look like it will be ending any time soon. While fans wait for some official information onGrand Theft Auto 6from Rockstar, they have started dreaming up their own concepts for the game, like aGTA 6map concept that was recently posted to Reddit.
ThisGTA 6map conceptlooks like an old meme that’s just being re-shared on Reddit, but it’s generating some attention, getting nearly 8,000 upvotes and over 650 comments at the time of this writing. This take on theGrand Theft Auto 6map combines all the major cities that have been featured in previous games in the series, forming a sort ofGrand Theft Autocontinent in the process.

Geographically-speaking, this map doesn’t make sense at all. WhileGrand Theft Autofeatures fictional cities, it still takes place in the United States. For example,Liberty Cityis just a renamed and tweaked version of the real-world New York City, whereas Vice City is a fictionalized take on Miami. Regardless, it’s still neat to see all of the cities combined into one mega map, and it would be interesting to see Rockstar Games release aGTAtitle that let players freely travel between the franchise’s major locations.
Some of theGrand Theft Auto 6rumors claim that the game will do just that, at least in a limited capacity. According to the rumors,GTA 6has both Liberty City and Vice City, with players able to travel between the two of them throughout the course of the story. Whether or not there’s any truth to those claims remains to be seen, but considering how theGTAgames continue to grow in terms of size and scope, it wouldn’t be all that surprising.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any concrete information onGrand Theft Auto 6is coming any time soon. The PS5 game showcase event kicked off by confirming thatGrand Theft Auto 5is coming to next-gen consoles, which doesn’t seem like something Rockstar would do if it had any intention of releasing the next game in the series in the near future.
The sales success of theGTAgames means thatGrand Theft Auto 6is going to release at some point, but it could be years. In the meantime, fans of the franchise can continue dreaming up their own concepts of what they hope to see from the game.
