Hedge Mazes are one of the many mysteries found inHogwarts Legacy. Although there are only five throughout the massive map, the mazes are surprisingly hard to find. That’s because Hedge Mazes are randomly generated, which means thatthe mazes have fixed locations, but they appear at random timesof the day.
UnlikeTreasure Vaults inHogwarts Legacy, the Hedge Mazes icon won’t appear on the map if players passed by its location. It can be only marked on the map if the maze actually spawns in the Highlands. Each one rewards a Legendary Chest and four of the mazes give a page explaining the backstory to the creator.

All Hedge Maze Locations In Hogwarts Legacy
There are a total of five Hedge Mazes inHogwarts Legacywhich can be found in the following locations:
Players’ level doesn’t matter as long as they can leave the castle’s walls and explore the Highlands. The only problem early-game players will face is the ability to travel from one point to another as the mazes aren’t practically close to each other. Protagonists that haven’t unlocked the ability to travel via Broom ora mount inHogwarts Legacymust walk all the way to Cragcroft which is one of the late-game areas that is filled with difficult enemies.
The Hedge Mazes will definitely appear in these locations but at a random time. It also doesn’t matter if it’s daytime or nighttime as the maze can be completed at any time. Fast-forwarding the time via theWaitmap optionwon’t workas the mazes spawn haphazardly.
If by any chance protagonists are facing trouble with locating the Hedge Mazes, it’s possible to save and load the game to refresh the area. TheHedge Mazes spawn randomly in their five locations, so after loading the game, keep visiting each location until all the mazes are found.
How To Solve Hedge Mazes In Hogwarts Legacy
To solve the Hedge Maze, protagonists must find and approach the Legendary Chest hidden inside the maze. By usingRevelio, players will see the marked chest through the hedges to know where to go, since each maze has a random layout.
Other than the Legendary Chest thatrewards Legendary Gear inHogwarts Legacy, it’s possible to find lost pages of the creator’s backstory on how these mazes came to exist. Although the pages are inside the maze, players don’t have to search for them and waste time asapproaching the chest will remove the hedges, making the page easily visible.
