Find the Cornia Faded Journal
Before you may actually complete the quest, there are a few steps to take note of first.Yahna must firstbe recruitedfrom theswampland in the south of Cornia, following which, she will start taking note of the various carvings that can be found around the region. The next step is to find the key to unlock the secrets which lie in the Faded Journal. This item can be locatednext to Grupont Townon the eastern side of Cornia; locate thenearby ruinsand investigate.
According to the journal, players mustfollow the order of the carvingsin order to discover their secrets, the same applies to theDrakenhold Carvings questas well. The order is as follows:Minotaur, Mermaid, Gryphon, and Unicorn. This is the order in which the carvings must be interacted with to complete the quest.
The Minotaur
For the Minotaur carving, players will have to go near the dangerous lands of the capital, but fret not, it is located justsouthwest of Fort Epine Morceaux, safe from the endgame dangers of the Zenorian Empire. Touch the carving to begin the journey.
The Mermaid
Next is the Mermaid carving, which can be found near the sea. Head to thenorthwestern cornerof the region, and justnext to Fontille Harbor, the carving will be waiting for that magical touch.
The Gryphon
The Gryphon carving is found near the swamps in thesouthwestern regionof Cornia. Fast travel toLebouge Hamletif you can, andmake your way westto discover the carving near the river.
The Unicorn
Lastly, the Unicorn carving isnear the borders with Drakenhold.To the south, nearLis de Prairie Village,will be the final carving that will see the quest come to completion.
For following the ancient instructions and getting things in order, players will be rewarded with 1,000 in gold, 5 Honors, 30 Renown, as well as the powerful Kingsblade Cornix for Prince Alain to lead his army into battle.
