Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtreeadds a whole host of new items for players,including weapons, armor, talismans, spells, and even cookbooks to craft items from materials that can only be found in the DLC area.
Among the new Cookbooks added are the Finger-Weaver Cookbooks, a set of two that can be found in the Finger Ruins of Rhia and Miyr. This guide covers where to find both books.
Finger-Weaver’s Cookbook [1] Location
The Finger-Weaver’s Cookbook [1] can be found in theFinger Ruins of Rhia,inside the Finger-Weaver’s Hovel, a small shack that’s sitting directly underneath the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion.
To get to this place, enter the Finger Ruins of Rhia from the main Site of Grace and follow the path to the right, leading downward. Turn left at the fork and look up to see the giant dragon corpse on the landmass above. Continue down the path under the corpse, and you’ll reach a field of blue flowers like those on the Cerulean Coast. The Finger-Weaver’s Hovel is just ahead to the left. Interact with the corpse inside to obtain the Finger-Weaver’s Cookbook [1].
The Lamprey enemies can be safely ignored; they won’t chase you towards the Hovel.
Finger-Weaver’s Cookbook [2] Location
The Finger-Weaver’s Cookbook [2] can be found in Finger Ruins of Miyr, the hidden area underneathCount Ymir’s throne in the Cathedral of Manus Metyrthat unlocks when you interact with the throne when he is not sitting on it. This area can only be accessed after you ring the bell in the Ancient Ruins of Rhia with theHole-Laden Necklacegiven by Ymir when you first talk to him.
Once this bell rings, return to Ymir and talk to him until he gives you theRuins Map (2nd). Then, rest at the Site of Grace until he moves to the Graveyard in the Cathedral. Use the opportunity to interact with the throne, and a secret tunnel underneath will reveal itself.
Take the ladder down and enter the Finger Ruins. Here, you’ll be invaded bySwordhand of Night Anna. Defeat her to claim theClaws of Night weapon. Continue towards the end of the Finger Ruins, and there will be a narrow path to the left of the bell. Take this path, and you’ll reach a corpse with the Finger-Weaver’s Cookbook [2].
