Hades 2players that want to craft theFishing Rod Gathering Toolwill need to acquire two different resources: Bronze and F-Fabric. Unfortunately, gathering the former will take some time, asBronze can only be obtained by heading to the Surfaceand mining it using the Crescent Pick near the City of Ephyra. In order to get to the Surface, players will have to pass through the Witching Ward, which leads upstairs to an entirely new set of biomes to explore.

How to Get Bronze in Hades 2
Once players finallyperform the Permeation of Witching-Wards Incantationat Hecate’s cauldron, the game will tell you to take a visit to the Surface for the first time. But be warned, until you perform a certain Incantation, Melinoe will take damage as she travels through the Surface, causing players to die pretty fast if they’re not careful. Luckily, theBronze mining spot should be reached easily if you don’t dillydally before getting to the City of Ephyra, the first named location on the Surface.
Make sure to equip the pickaxe before leaving the Silver Pool and entering the Surface. It wouldn’t be fun to find a Bronze mining spot only to be unable to gather thesought-afterHades 2material.
What to Do With Bronze in Hades 2?
The first thing that you should do once you get Bronze is to unlock the Fishing Rod Gathering Tool. You can use it to find fish during your runs, and the fish can be sold to the merchant at the Crossroads for extra Bones.
If you’re looking tounlock all of Melinoe’s weapons, you’re able to alsouse Bronze to craft the Argent Skull. It’s a projectile-based weapon that blasts foes with explosive shell attacks.
If you’re still missing some F-Fabric to make the Fishing Rod, you may always sell some items to the merchant to get Bones, which you’ll need 60 of to purchase Fate Fabric.
