Base building plays a big part in yourPalworldexperience, including unlocking new items and placing them across your base. At the beginning of your journey, you have to pick a place and build your base around that place by placing thePalbox.
But, as you progress, you might feel the need to rearrange certain items around to make extra room, as the Palbox only covers a specific radius as your base. However,Palworld’sitem movement mechanic differs greatly from most other games and requires additional steps.
How to Move Items
As you advance up the Technology level and unlock new technologies, you might notice that you have not made the ideal use of space inside your base. Someone might find themselves realizing they wasted a lot of room intheir baseby building it around some shattered walls that they could not move or destroy.
However,there is no direct way to pick up and move any itemlike you might have seen in othersurvival games. Any object you want to moverequires you to disassemble, acquire the necessary materials, and reassemble it elsewhere.
First, enter the build menu bypressing the button “B"on your keyboard. The disassembly mode will be shown at the bottom of the screen, and you can start dismantling items bypressing “C.”
Once in the disassembly mode, you must select the item you want to move. The targeted items will behighlighted in red, and you may disassemble the items bypressing the Left Mouse Button. Once you are done disassembling the items, press ESC to quit the disassembly mode.
After disassembling the items, they will be destroyed immediately. However, you will regain all the resources for that item, and there will be no waste. Before dismantling any item, ensure you have enough space tocarry the weightof the resources since they can make you heavy and unable to move around.
While this procedure might be exhausting to move several items at once, it is the only way to do that now. Hopefully, the developers add a feature to move the items manually in the upcoming game updates.
If you aremoving a baseto a new location, it is not necessary to disassemble each item separately. All you need to do is disassemble your Palbox; it will take care of the rest, destroying every structure in your base.
