Members of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service have several perks that enhance their Switch experience. The service has been active since 2018, and since then, it has improved quite a lot. Among the most recently added advantages, the ability to create custom Nintendo Switch icons is without a doubt a favorite within the community. To celebrate the release ofSuper Mario Bros. Wonder, some themed goodies have been added to the service for a limited amount of time.

Available Super Mario Bros. Wonder Icons
TheSuper Mario Bros. Wondericons became available as soon as the game launched, and gamers have until August 05, 2025, to unlock them. Just like theTears of the Kingdomicons, they may return in the future, as these icons tend to rotate from time to time.
Custom icons are only available for Nintendo Switch Online users, so players who want to acquire theMario Wondericons will have to have an active subscription before Wave 1 ends. Here are all the characters included in this wave:
To complement the character options, there are backgrounds of the mainSuper Mario Bros. Wonderworlds and basic backgrounds and borders with all sorts of colors. Each character costs ten Platinum Points and each background and border costs five Platinum Points, soin order to unlock everything in Wave 1, players will have to spend a total of 175 Platinum Points.
So far, Nintendo has only disclosed information regarding the first wave ofSuper Mario Bros. Wondericons. Fans aren’t sure when they’ll receive more icons, but it is implied that there will be more options later on, as there are a lot more characters in the game.
How to Redeem and Make Custom Super Mario Bros. Wonder Icons
Players can redeem theSuper Mario Bros. Wondericons in the Missions & Rewards section of theNintendo Switch OnlineApp. The app can be accessed by clicking the red icon on the bottom left corner of the Home screen.
Special custom icons can only be created within the Nintendo Switch Online App. Gamers can either make them by selecting the element that they would like to use for their icon in the Rewards section, or they canselect the Icon Collection button on the top right-hand corner of the screen, next to the Platinum Points button. In the creation menu, fans can make all sorts of icon combinations.
