The characters in theAssassin’s Creedseries don’t tend to stick around for long. Each game typically brings a new set of protagonists, villains, and supporting characters. The only ones who normally remain are those in the present-day timeline, but none of them have been in every single entry either.

Of course, with character changes also comes the addition of new voice actors. And many different people have lent their tones to the over-decade-long series by this point. However, a number of actors have managed to remain in the series for several games. Sometimes it’s because their character continues to be involved in the narrative, whereas other times, it’s due to one actor playing various roles. Here is a collection of those who’ve made more than one appearance.

11Elias Toufexis (Five Games)

Ubisoft is clearly a big fan of Elias Tourfexis’s work as they continuously use him throughout theAssassin’s Creedseries. His first role came in the second game as Ezio’s charismatic older brother, Federico. Then the actor went on to play a few other characters, including Leonidas and Nikolaos fromOdyssey.

Outside of theACfranchise, Toufexis has lent his voice to many other games. Arguably his biggest role was as Adam Jensen inDeus Ex: Mankind Divided. He’s also been in a few television and streaming shows such asThe ExpanseandStar Trek: Discovery.

10Shawn Baichoo (Nine Games)

Niccolo Machiavelli is among the most interesting characters in the series. Yet, he may not have been as compelling without Shawn Baichoo’s excellent performances inAssassin’s Creed IIandBrotherhood. Although, that’s hardly the actor’s only contribution toAssassin’s Creed. His tones have appeared in nine installments and one DLC. In that time, he’s played everyone from the cowardly Duccio to historical figures like Niccolo Polo.

Ubisoft has also used the actor’s talents in their other big franchises likeWatch DogsandFar Cry. Plus, the actor has multiple television shows and films on his resume.

9Andreas Apergis (Ten Games)

Andreas Apergis is the voice behind a few ofthe strongest and most influential Templars ever. InBrotherhood, he played the menacing main antagonist, Cesare Borgia. Whereas in a couple of later entries, he voiced present-day villain Otso Berg.

Along with his many appearances inAssassin’s Creed, Apergis has been in games likeOutlastandSplinter Cell: Chaos Theory. His movie career has been solid too. For instance, he’s been inX-Men: Days Of Future PastandWhite House Down.

8Adrian Hough (Two Games)

Not everyAssassin’s Creedvoice actor takes on multiple roles. Adrian Hough, for instance, only provided tones for Haytham Kenway during his two appearances inAssassin’s Creed IIIandRogue. And what a job he did, as the character remains amongAssassin’s Creed’smost compelling villains of all time.

Like Andreas Apergis, Hough appeared in anX-Menmovie. He played Mr. Grey inThe Last Stand. The actor also featured in Jennifer’s Body and plenty of other live-action projects.

7Carlos Ferro (Three Games)

TheAssassin’s Creedgames are known for being fairly historically accurate –some more than others. So, of course, they include a litany of real historical figures. Leonardo da Vinci is one of the fan favorites as he assists Ezio in a few games. When he’s not around, though, his voice actor, Carlos Ferro, usually still is as he’s anAssassin’s Creedregular.

However, some people might be more familiar with Ferro’s work in theGearsof Warfranchise, where he played Dominic Santiago. His voice is also inShenmue III, theSaints Rowseries, andLightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. He’s no stranger to television, either.

6Eliza Schneider (Seven Games)

FewAssassin’s Creedcharacters have appeared in as many games as Rebecca Crane. The present-day assassin was introduced in the second entry as a member of Desmond’s support team and has been involved in six installments since. Throughout it all, the tech expert has been voiced by Eliza Schneider.

The actress proved her voice acting talents several years before her entry into the Ubisoft series when she voiced multiple characters in the early years ofSouth Park. But since then, much of her work has come in video games. Some of her most notable roles have been as Pepper Potts inLego Marvel’s Avengersand Elizabeth Swan in theKingdom Heartsseries.

5Danny Wallace (Eight Games)

It’s rare to see Rebecca Crane without Shaun Hastings by her side. The duo supports both Desmond and Layla during their important adventures. Along with historical facts, Hastings brings plenty of sarcasm to the team. His British tones are provided by Danny Wallace.

Wallace is not a full-time actor, so his non-Assassin’s Creedcredits are limited. But he has written several impressive books, includingYes Man, which would later get adapted into a popular movie starring Jim Carrey. He was even a writer for some of the games in which his voice featured.

4Roger Craig Smith (Five Games)

Ezio was one of the most popular protagonists in the series. His trilogy of games fromAssassin’s Creed IItoRevelationsis still seen by many as the best in the franchise’s history. During which, the young nobleman transformed into a legendary Assassin. And Roger Craig Smith was always there to provide his vocals. The actor also stuck around for a bit after Ezio left the series and voiced a couple of people inBlack Flag.

Smith’s voice acting experience doesn’t stop there, though. The actor has lent his tones to many other characters in video games, television, and movies. A few of the most notable ones areArkham Origins’Batman and Sonic fromWreck-It Ralph.

3Chantel Riley (Three Games)

Whilefemale characters don’t always get a lot of the spotlightinAssassin’s Creed, Layla Hassan has been the main present-day protagonist in recent years. During that time, the hero has gone through a significant transformation from a bright-eyed Abstergo employee to a hardened assassin. And Chantel Riley has done an excellent job bringing the character to life throughout it all.

Elsewhere, Riley has had significant stints in several different series. Some of the most notable ones includePearson,Wynonna Earp, andFrankie Drake Mysteries. Plus, she featured in the Jesse Owens biopic titledRace.

2Nolan North (Seven Games)

Voice acting legend Nolan North has provided the voice for Desmond Miles since the first game in the series. The character served as the present-day protagonist for the Altair, Ezio, and Connor games. During those days, he worked desperately to overcome the Templars and humanity’s impending doom. Since then, his presence has been limited to archival footage before making a reappearance recently.

Few voice actors have as many video game credits as North. Nathan Drake from theUnchartedseries, David fromThe Last Of Us, and Oswald Cobblepot from theArkhamgames are just a few of the characters he has voiced. The man also showed his live-action talents inPretty Little Liars.
