InLike a Dragon Gaiden, the Akame Network system includes photography missions among its many side quests. Players can find these requests among others shown on the game’s map, indicated by white exclamation points.Gaiden’s photography-oriented requests task Joryu with searching for aspecific location or objectto photograph. Once he’s reached the correct location, he simply needs to pull out his phone camera to capture the required shot, then return to the requester.
The main challenge to these requests is simply discovering the correct locations, rather than anything regarding the photography itself. This approach marks a notable departure from the more dynamicphoto-oriented “Revelations” systemfound in previousYakuzagames. Despite this, completing these photography tasks still yields rewards in the form of Akame Network points and in-game currency. Here’s where players can find and photograph Fukupi-chan inLike a Dragon Gaiden.
Starting the “Please Photograph Fukupi-chan” Request
In Chapter 4 ofLike a Dragon Gaiden, players can start the"Please Photograph Fukupi-chan"request. Joryu initiates this request by heading to the western end of S Shofukucho, guided by a white exclamation mark located near Sotenbori’s Gambling Hall.
There, he meets a man who has boasted to others about his underworld connections but admits that he is actually quite clueless when it comes toall things sinister and shady. This man has heard rumors about a “Fukupi-chan” and, ignorant of what it could be, asks Joryu to locate, photograph whatever it could be, and return to him with the evidence.
Completing the “Please Photograph Fukupi-chan” Request
Unbeknownst to the man,Fukupi-chanis a major piece of decor onLike a Dragon Gaiden’s opulent pleasure barge known as The Castle. Fukupi-chan is a large clown statue located outside the Castle Cabaret building. To capture this sinister statue, Joryu must head to the center of Castle Central Street and position himself for a clear view of the clown’s oversized head.
Joryu activates his phone camera by pressing up on the D-Pad or the ‘C’ key on a keyboard. He then needs to aim the viewfinder at the clown’s unsettling grin, waiting for the “Take Photos” prompt to appear. Once aligned, a simple click captures the photo.
With the image secured, Joryu takes the helicopter back to Sotenbori and heads west along S Shofukucho, where he’ll find the man in the same spot. Showing the photo to the man completes the request, rewarding Joryu with AkamePoints and ¥20,000.
