Over the past decade,PlayStationfans have been treated to some of the industry’s most well-received console exclusives. For example, games likeGod of WarandGhost of Tsushimaconsistently top review charts and game-of-the-year lists. This has naturally led to players who don’t havePlayStationconsoles to forward to any PC ports of the biggest PS4 exclusives. Thankfully, Sony has begun to satiate some of those fans by bringing games likeHorizon Zero Dawnto PC. This is a great decision, as many PC players are able to enjoy the games with higher graphical fidelity and frame rates thanks to high-end PC builds. There are many major games yet to make the jump from PS4 to PC just yet, though.
With the recent addition ofGod of Warto the PC’s PS Now lineup, discussions have cropped up about what PS4 exclusives fans want to come to PC the most. Some game’s communities have led a consistent charge in asking for ports, while others are more intermittent. In either case, some of the biggest PS4 exclusives could have some serious drawing power if they make their way onto PC.

Bloodborne
Considered by many fans as FromSoftware’s magnum opus,Bloodborne’sonline community has kept a constant call for PC ports. The game’s Victorian-era aesthetics blended with Lovecraftian cosmic and body horror has kept veteran fans engaged (and ensnaring new ones) since its initial release back in 2016.Bloodbornedid a lot to distinguish itself from the other FromSoftware titles with its unique atmosphere and visceral combat. Its combat is blisteringly fast compared to theDark Soulsgames, which gave players new ways to counter enemies with firearms and sneak attacks. The trick weapon mechanic inBloodborneis also among the most unique approaches to weaponry in modern memory, and all this adds up to a game that has fans clamoring for a PC (and PS5) port to address one of its few technical issues: a sometimes buggy framerate.
Gran Turismo
PC gaming has a large contingent of dedicated racing game fans. The customizable nature of PC and its various peripherals have made the platform one of the premier ways to enjoy racing games. As one of the most prestigious racing sims ever,Gran Turismocould find a comfortable home on PC. It has been highly regarded for its dedication to truly emulating the feeling of owning and operating some of the world’s most powerful cars, which stands in ironic contrast to fans only having emulation as a method to playGran Turismoon PC. The PS Now service also includes someGran Turismogames, but that experience isn’t enough for many fans.Gran Turismo 7has been confirmed cross-platformbetween PS4 and PS5, but PC players are still being left in the dust for the time being.
Marvel’s Spider-Man
It was only natural for a well-crafted title made by a prestigious studio about one of the most popular comic book characters of all time to do well. Still, PS4’sSpider-Manstill blew away many fans' expectations. The game featured a gorgeously-rendered view of New York City filled with adventures both big and small for the wall-crawler to explore.Spider-Man’s story featured some of the most powerful momentsin modern memory, and gameplay that felt precise, slick, and addictive. Argued by many as the best Spider-Man game ever made, fans have been eager to get a look at the game on PC. The PS5 upgrade andMiles Moralesspinoff showed off just how good the series could look, but many high-end PCs could deliver an even more incredible version of Sony’s pivotalSpider-Manexperience.

Persona 5
One of the most well-received JRPGs in history is still trapped on Sony platforms.Persona 5redefined success for what otherwise was a niche series of games. While it’s not uncommon for JRPGs to not come to PC, the recent shift in that trend should culminate in aPersona 5PC port. The game has been lauded for its adaptation of traditional JRPG gameplay elements, memorable characters, and slick presentation.Persona 5has helped bring serious commercial successto the franchise, too. Bringing such a well-received game over to a new platform could go a long way in continuing that trend, exposing more fans than ever to the acclaimedPersona 5.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
As a reimagining of one of the most beloved titles in video game history,FF7 Remakealready had a lot riding on its success. The game managed to surpass many fan expectations, though, garnering some brand new fans in the process. Fans had been hoping to hear about a PC port earlier this year, but Square Enix and Sony extended the game’s exclusivity. This came as a disappointment for many, but made sense in the context ofbringingFF7 Remake Intergradeto the PS5. The update included many general improvements and included a new story mission that focused around Yuffie Kisaragi. While it’s unlikely that the game will come to other platforms any time soon, PC players will likely be chomping at the bit for news about a potential port.
Ratchet and Clank
Ratchet and Clankhas long been one of Sony’s most beloved IPs. The series has definitely had some ups and downs in its long history, but overall the games deliver charm, action, and fun in spades. The recent release ofRatchet and Clank: A Rift Aparthas seen many fans wanting to go back and enjoy earlier games in the series. Unfortunately for PC players, the series falls under the realm of PS Now or emulation as the only options.Ratchet and Clankhas long had its vibrant visuals at the forefront of its experience, with huge set pieces and weapon effects lighting up the screen. Avisual spectacle likeRatchet and Clankis something that would be upgraded well by higher framerates and resolution, so it’s only natural that PC players would love to get their hands on the game.
Uncharted
Naughty Dogs’Unchartedseries remains one of Sony’s premier franchises. The high-stakes adventure and incredible presentation has cemented the Nathan Drake saga in fans' memories forever.Unchartedstill stands as a master class in worldbuildingand character development even after the release ofThe Last of Us, Naughty Dog’s other crowning achievement.As with many other games, there are ways to play some of them on a PC. Without a true port, though, players aren’t able to harness the full power of their PC builds to elevate the graphical fidelity of a franchise already known for looking great.Uncharted 4will soon be breaking this trend, but fans would love to see the entire series make its way to the platform.
Ghost of Tsushima
Another one of 2020’s most successful games also graced the PS4 exclusively.Ghost of Tsushimaquickly became regarded as one of the best games of the generation and a fitting send off before Sony began to truly focus on its next-gen console.Tsushimafeatures an expansive world that felt alive, a narrative that captured fans' attention, and combat that blended many of gaming’s best elements. Luckily for PS5 owners,Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cutwill highlight the game’s beautiful graphics. Unfortunately for PC players though, this is yet anotherPlayStationexclusive with no official plans announced for a PC release.
