Tomorrow, June 24, fans may want to tune intoMarvel’s Avenger’sWar Table livestreamto see some new and improved gameplay from the title, which is less than three months from release now. Although it was a bit shaky upon reveal, with many being underwhelmed by the general designs of the titular heroes, it’s clear that Crystal Dynamics has taken the game forward in strides.
Among the reasoning for this is the fact that, ahead of its upcoming livestream, Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X versions ofMarvel’s Avengersare in the works. The wording seems to suggest that each will be available alongside the launch of the next-gen console, but also indicates that players will be able to upgrade their PS4 or Xbox One version for free.

As a celebration of sorts, Crystal Dynamics also release a slew of new screenshots taken directly from a PS5. The screenshot of Hulk, as seen above, has an incredibly amount of detail regarding the sweat building upon the character. EachMarvel’s Avengersscreenshot looks impressive and indicate of next-gen capabilities, whether that’s showing the shine of Iron Man’s Armor or the leap ofMs. Marvel. Thor’s screenshot even looks likes something taken straight from aStar Warsmovie.
With as impressive as these are, it seems likely that Crystal Dynamic plans to go even bigger tomorrow. Topping confirmation of next-gen versions and screenshots to boot will require something big though, but it seems like if this were the hat tip of the show, then the studio would have remained quiet and waited until tomorrow to reveal this. As such, fans may reasonably have some big expectations for tomorrow after thedelaysMarvel’s Avengershas undergone.
Hopefully, this War Table livestream impresses as much as these screenshots, as while the game looks graphically better than it did before, there’s still the question of how it plays, its story, and more. The Avengers will reassemble for this stream tomorrow, soMarvelfans can expect more soon.
