The toys are quite varied, and each one has integrated an embossed Super Nintendo World logo into its design. The six Happy Meal toys are:
Each toy has unique functions to highlight different experiences from the themed land. Princess Peach’s castle acts as the entry point for the land in the park, and the toy comes with a button to rotate through different character art. The Yoshi bracelet, similar to the slow-moving dark ride, has a game involving sorting the Yoshi eggs into their respective colored slots. TheMario Karttoy comes with a Mario figurine and a sticker set to deck the Kart out. This is intended to represent the hallmark ride of Super Nintendo World, Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge. It even comes with a Green Shell token to launch from the front of the toy.
The Donkey Kong minecart is meant to be launched from the barrel, hinting at what guests will experience when the roller coaster opens sometime in 2024. Chef Toad is actually a kendama toy, with a mushroom-shaped ring to hook onto Toad’s spatula, head, or pan. The Warp Pipe is a replica of the tunnel visitors walk through to access Princess Peach’s castle in the park, with a Luigi decal inviting those who have this toy to take a glimpse into the camera lens to see snippets of the experiences in Super Nintendo World, from character meet-n-greets to concept art of upcoming attractions.
Will These Toys Ever Come Overseas?
Currently, it is unknown if or when these toys will make their debut in other regions. It would be fair to assume that these may come overseas in 2025, when Universal Orlando opens its highly-anticipated third gate, Epic Universe, to promotethe Super Nintendo World area of the park. Additionally, extremely popular Japanese McDonald’s toys and collaborations from years ago have recently been brought to the United States in the form of full-fledged merchandise drops.
