When compared to some of the other regions inMetroid Dread, Ghavoran comes up a little short in terms of Energy and Missile Tanks. Granted, it does have more thanElunandHanubia, but, considering how much larger it is than those places, this is perhaps to be expected.

In total, there are only fifteen upgrade tanks to find inMetroid Dread’s Ghavoran region, eleven of which are of the missile variety. By the time they’ve all been collected, Samus' maximum health will have increased by one and a half tanks of energy and she’ll be able to carry 30 extra missiles as well as one additional Power Bomb.

Every Energy Tank in Ghavoran

Energy Tank #1 (Energy Part)

Ghavoran’s first Energy Tank is in the tall shaft with the collapsing flowers. On the left wall is a Grapple Beam block that will need to be pulled out, though, due to the timing, this is incredibly difficult when players first pass through the area. If they return with the Ice Missiles, however, they can freeze the flower to the right of the block, which provides a few extra seconds to pull it loose.

Energy Tank #2

The second Energy Tank is above the first, a little higher up the shaft. To reach it, players will need todestroy an Enky(the weird fire plants), which means they’ll need to have unlocked Ice Missiles.

Energy Tank #3 (Energy Part)

The final Energy Tank is at Ghavoran’s most northerly point. To reach it, players will need to head to the outside area that leads tothe Golzuna boss fight(this means they’ll need to have found the Screw Attack) and then charge up the Speed Booster. Once it activates, they should flick the left analog stick down and then activate Samus’s Shinespark ability to fly straight up the tunnel and destroy the orange blocks at the top of it.

Every Missile Tank in Ghavoran

Missile Tank #1

Ghavoran’s first Missile Tank is in the tunnels to the right of the room where players acquire the Pulse Radar.

Missile Tank #2

Players can get their hands on the second Missile Tank by removing a Grapple Beam block in the outside area that leads to the elevator down to Dairon.

Missile Tank #3

The third Missile Tank can be reached by swinging from the Grapple Beam blocks on the ceiling of the room to the left of the elevator down to Burenia.

Missile Tank #4

Players won’t be able to collect the fourth Missile Tank until after they’ve found the Gravity Suit. Once they have it, they should head to the room to the right of the elevator down to Burenia.

Missile Tank #5

to collect Missile Tank number 5, players will need to detonate a Cross Bomb to propel Samus across the pitfall blocks shown above before they collapse.

Missile Tank #6

Players will need to use the Speed Booster in order to collect the sixth Missile Tank. It’s best to start in the area that leads players to Elun and then run back through the door towards the tank. After the booster activates, players can either string together some jumps to keep their momentum going or flick the left analog stick down and then use Samus' Shinespark ability to propel her to the left.

Missile Tank #7

Once players have found the Screw Attack, they’ll be able to reach a new outdoor area by destroying some blue blocks in the area to the left of the green teleporter. Once outside, they’ll simply need to string together a few jumps and then grab onto the ledge to drop down and pick up the seventh Missile Tank.
