The post is allegedly the first of many to come, as the creator of the series announced plans to continue the series with more concept art as they finish them, though currently it is unknown when that may occur.

While the specific plot details are still vague as of now, the story will reportedly revolve around a group ofmodern-dayMinecraftbuildersstumbling upon an ancient land once inhabited by massive titans and “Ancient Builders” who worked the land to ruins.
They also teased a series of concepts that they plan to reveal in the future, such as the Enderman Titan, Redstone Titans and various others based on some ofMinecraft’smobs, blocks and items. According to the artist’s comments on the original post, the story is inspired heavily byfan theories aboutMinecraftthat have circulated onlinefor years, which have attempted to explain its history and lore in various ways.
Some fans even suggested the idea be made into an officialMinecraftmod, which could be feasible with the right developers, sincestory-based maps andMinecraftmodshave existed for years. In any case, there is still seemingly much more to come from theMinecraft: Titansproject, and though it remains to be seen just how far it may go, the concept alone is certainly an ambitious one.
