A week after this happened,Fortniteannounced the collaboration, and a few days later, theJujutsu KaisenBreak the Curse event passwent live. Back in April 2023, popular dataminers found information thathinted towards aFortnitexDoctor Whocollab. Many fans were ecstatic when they heard these rumors, and they were eager to learn more about what was to come. However, even though more information came out sometime later, players grew concerned when they noticed that too long had passed and noDoctor Whocosmetics had ever been released. Thankfully, to ease fans' minds, FNBRintel, a knownFortniteleaker, has revealed that the developers are still working on this collab. They were even able to share a list of everyDoctor Whocosmetic that’ll be available inFortniteonce it’s released. This information makes it clear that the event will be huge once it’s out, and it’ll even include an event pass with tons of free items.
According to the leaker, it seems that the collaboration was put on hold due to an internal disagreement. Originally, the event was intended to go live in the first quarter of 2024. However, this would not coincide with theairing ofDoctor Who’s anniversary special, which has caused some turmoil and led to a disruption in the creation of the rumored event and cosmetics.
Although most fans are happy to know that theFortnitexDoctor Whoevent is still on the cards, it’s still impossible to determine when they can expect it to be released. Hopefully, Epic Games will find a way to deal with this apparent conflict so everyone can enjoy theirDoctor Whocosmetics in time for the show.
