Players who buy theMortal Kombat 1Premium Editionor the Kombat Pack 1 will have early access to the fighter. In his current version, Quan Chi bears a lot of resemblance to hisMortal Kombat Xcounterpart, like being able to extend the range of his moves through portals. Quan Chi has kept his skull projectiles, which can be fired on the ground or in the air. The sorcerer controls a Lovecraftian creature that uses the portals to attack. Against Shang Tsung, he shows a special move, which is a bone prison used to limit the opponent’s movements.

When is Quan Chi Coming to Mortal Kombat 1?

As rumored by fans, Khameleon made her debut in Quan Chi’s trailer, which revealed that the Kameo Fighter will arrive in January 2024. She shows off the moves used by Jade, Mileena, and Kitana, such as Jade’s special that gives her a green glow and immunity to projectiles. The trailer also shows one of Quan Chi’s Fatalities, where he summons a series of glass panels to slice Shang Tsung with ease. The end of the video features a brief appearance by Peacemaker, and although it doesn’t include gameplay, the exchange between John Cena’s character and Quan Chi excitedMortal Kombat 1players. Peacemaker is one of the characters included in the first Kombat Pack,along with Homelander.
