Yesterday, NetherRealm Studios released a brand newMortal Kombat 11DLC character: the legendary DC villain, the Joker. This means that there is now only one more fighter to be added to the roster throughMortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack, and indeed it is a character that many players are extremely excited about. More specifically, Spawn is coming toMK11on March 17, and a newly-revealed action figure is now giving fans their best look at the character’s design yet.

This new Spawn figure is from McFarlane Toys, and it is featured in the latest issue ofPreviewsmagazine with aMortal Kombatlogo conspicuously placed below it. While the scans from the magazine that are currently available are not of the highest fidelity, they still show off the character quite adequately, and fans that have been eager to see a more complete rendering of how Spawn will appear inMortal Kombat 11may still be happy to see them.

Beyond showcasing his design, the figure may also confirm some details about the customizable gear pieces that fans will have access to when Spawn releases as anMK11DLC character. Indeed, it appears that the Spawn figure will come with its own sword, and it would thus not be surprising for swords to be one of his threegear pieces inMK11. Additionally, the figure’s emphasis on Spawn’s belt may hint at that being another customizable cosmetic for the character, but that is not confirmed at this time.

One thing that is confirmed, though, is thevoice actor for Spawn inMortal Kombat 11, as Keith David revealed that he would be lending his voice to the character back in August 2019. For the uninitiated, David, a veteran of the industry, voiced Spawn for the animated series from 1997, and some fans will certainly be happy to hear that he is reprising the role forMK11.

Furthermore, withSpawn’sMortal Kombat 11release datenow just a month and a half away, NetherRealm is sure to reveal even more details about the character, including his Fatalities and special moves, relatively soon. Hopefully these details will live up to what many fans have been hoping for and will leave these players feeling like Spawn was indeed worth the wait.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
