Twitter account PlayStation Game Size has revealed thatOne Piece Odysseywill be 31.823 GB on PlayStation 4, while the PS5 version is slightly smaller at 29.405 GB. No reasons have been given for why the PS4 version ofOne Piece Odysseyis larger than the PS5 version. And while specifics are unavailable at the time of this writing, it’s likely that the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series XOne Piece Odysseyfile sizes will be comparable. PlayStation Game Size also confirmed thatOne Piece Odysseypre-load goes live on January 11, so fans can make sure the game is ready to go come launch on January 13.

The officialOne Piece Odysseyrelease date is January 13, butOne Piecefans will actually have the chance to play the game in advance. AOne Piece Odysseydemois scheduled to drop on January 10, with progress from the demo carrying over to the full game. If theOne Piece Odysseydemo is entertaining enough, it’s easy to see a scenario where it convinces those on the fence to take the plunge and buy the game. On the other hand, if the demo is unimpressive, it may actually drive away people who were already planning on buying the game.

Whatever the case may be, it will be interesting tosee howOne Piece Odysseyis received. It’s sharing its release date with the next-gen version ofDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, so anime game fans will have a decision to make this coming week.
