Kiriko is the latest support hero added to theOverwatch 2roster, and some fans have discovered that her fox spirit has a different design for one of her legendary skins. With the launch ofOverwatch 2,Blizzard has moved to a free-to-play modelfor its team-based hero shooter. As an offshoot of this decision, the developer has introduced a battle pass that includes a number of cosmetics, including a legendary skin for Kiriko.

Despite theSeason 1 Battle Pass forOverwatch 2featuring many cosmetics, such as emotes, highlight intros, charms, and sprays, the main highlight is the new skins for characters. While the legendary skin for Genji at the end of the battle pass is eye-catching, Kiriko’s new Hinotori skin found at level 20 should not be overlooked. In addition to altering the look of Kiriko, the battle pass skin changes the appearance of her fox spirit.

This detail was spotted by frhg12 on Reddit, and they shared a collage of pictures that compared the two designs inOverwatch 2. In the image, the default skins for Kiriko and her fox spirit were seen at the top, while the Hinotori versions were visible at the bottom. In order to get a good look at the fox spirit, the Reddit user used screenshots from the highlight intro called Kitsune Rush and the victory pose, Companion. These pictures revealed that the legendary skin made the fox darker in coloration on its legs and back. In addition, it appeared to have some sort of metal-like plate on its head, along with black-tipped ears.

Since posting the image to Reddit, a number of gamers have found the different designs of the fox spirit intriguing. While frhg12 enjoyed the change, they said that they wished the developers would have gone a step further and given the legendary design a different color to correspond to the coloration of the Battle Pass skin. In addition, another gamer commented that Blizzard should give the fox spirit appearances to match each ofKiriko’s skins inOverwatch 2in the same way Bob gets a new look with Ash’s skins.

Despite the problems that Blizzard has faced regarding the launch ofOverwatch 2, it is still good to see the developers put time into some of the finer details, such as the unique models for Kiriko’s fox spirit. Beyond these different designs, other fans have been making other discoveries in the game. For example, one gamer recently found out that thegiant robot on the Push maps would talkto them. As players continue to check outOverwatch 2, it will be interesting to see what other Easter eggs are uncovered.
