Summary

Overwatch 2players are furious that the game’sDiablo 4skins are locked behind a $39.99 bundle. Blizzard has recently kicked offOverwatch 2Season 7, which has kicked off the annual Halloween Terror event and made some sweeping balance changes to the hero shooter. Unfortunately for Blizzard, it seems many of theOverwatch 2Season 7 changes haven’t exactly gone over well with fans of the game.

Overwatch 2Season 7 has been hugely controversial since its patch notes first dropped.Overwatch 2’s new group spawn system, the hero balance changes made, and the harsher leave penalties have all caused division in the community. While there are some who enjoy these changes, it seems that many fans are not happy about the changes that have been made with theOverwatch 2Season 7 update.

overwatch 2 diablo 4 skin bundle

One of the biggest points of contention fans have withOverwatch 2Season 7is the Ultimate Battle Pass Bundle: Season Seven, which is the only way fans can get theDiablo 4skins in the game. Blizzard has been heavily advertising theDiablo 4skins forOverwatch 2Season 7, which include an Inarius skin for Pharah and a Lilith skin for Moira. At the time of this writing, the skins are only available as part of a $39.99 bundle. There is no option to purchase them individually, and there is no option to buy the skin with in-game currency. Needless to say, this has fans expressing their outrage on social media, as they are not happy about the bundle’s price or how the skins are only available through said bundle.

Overwatch 2 Diablo 4 Skins

The bundle comes with more content than just theDiablo 4skins, but it’s safe to say that there may be some fans who aren’t interested in the extra content and would rather just get the skins. By purchasing the $39.99 bundle, players also get 20 Battle Pass tier skips, the Season 7 Battle Pass, two sprays, a Pumpkin skin for Bastion, and 2,000 Overwatch Coins. Thevalue of Overwatch Coinsis called into question when that premium currency can’t even be used to buy certain things in the shop, like this bundle.

It’s entirely possible Blizzard will consider this feedback and make theDiablo 4skins inOverwatch 2available to purchase outside of the bundle with Overwatch Coins. On the other hand, Blizzard may stick to its guns and force players to purchase the $39.99 if they want theDiablo 4skins. In the meantime, this marks yet another unpopular decision by Blizzard when it comes toOverwatch 2’s monetization.

Overwatch 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
