Wheat

Tomato

Required Seeds:

At the beginning of the game, Badruu - the gardening skill affiliate - will give each new character a patch of soil. It can be placed on the home lot. Players should then use their hoe tool to till the soil.

Each patch can support nine plants in a 3x3 arrangement. Thislayout is both beginner-friendlyand low maintenance. The tomatoes will help keep the soil moist, so gardeners will need to water their plants less frequently.

Potato

Onion

Another fairly simple layout is this one, which involves five different types of plants. As previously established, the tomatoes and potatoes will ensure that all adjacent crops stay well watered. In addition, the carrots and onions will keep the plot weed-free.

The wheat, which can be harvested after four days, will increase the harvest yield for the surrounding tomatoes and carrots. For those looking to obtain more rice orsome cotton to craft fabric, these two crops can be replaced by the wheat crop.

Rice

Place two patches of soil side-by-side to create a6x6 pattern. It will require 36 seeds. Players can purchase seeds at the general store or collect them from the seed collector machine. The recipe for crafting this machine can be purchased from Badruu afterreaching Gardening Level Two.

This layout prioritizes high profits with the benefits of minimal-effort gardening. The tomatoes and potatoes help retain water, the carrots and onions will prevent weeds, and the rice will boost the quality of the surrounding crops.

Onion

Carrot

To minimize maintenance and maximize yields in the garden, this 6x6 arrangementoptimizes the gardening skill and the upkeep of healthy crops. Each crop has benefits for the entire layout. The onions and carrots remove weeds while the rice, wheat, and cotton enhance the quality and quantity of the harvests.

Using fertilizers like QualityUp, HarvestBoost, SpeedyGro, WeedBlock, and HydratePro can add more bonuses to the crops as well. They can be purchased or collected from worm farms.

Carrot

Rice

For players who enjoy reaping the benefits of having a personal garden, but have otherpriorities like building friendshipsand completing quests, thisself-sustaining 6x9 plot layoutis the perfect setup.

This arrangement provides all crop bonuses, including water retention, weed prevention, and quality boosts. This setup requires six soil plots placed next to each other and a grand total of 54 seeds.

Apple

Wheat

This 9x9 plot layout requires players to obtain nine patches of soil and 67 seeds, and it will require progress in the Gardening skill tounlock apple tree seedsand blueberry bushes. These two crops speed up the growth process for adjacent crops.

The apple tree will take up one 3x3 plot while the blueberries occupy a 2x2 space. Like the other plot layouts, this arrangement will keep crops watered and weeded.

Blueberry

Corn

Follow this pattern to achieve a 100% harvest increase and water retention, along with additional benefits like a 30% quality increase, growth boost, and weed prevention. This plot does not require players to fertilize their plants, so it requires minimal effort.

Completing this plot pattern requires players to have nearly all seed types inPalia, including spicy peppers. Only players who reach level six in the gardening skill can plant and grow spicy peppers. These seeds can be purchased from Zeki’s General Store for 170 gold each.

Onion + QualityUp Fertilizer

Players with a surplus of fertilizers should look into this 9x9 plot to get 100% water retention and partial bonuses like weed protection, a higher probability of star-quality crops, and increased harvest boosts.

This layout requires a total of 81 fertilizers, which can bemade in the glow worm farms. Players will need 32 QualityUp Fertilizers, 34 WeedBlock Fertilizers, 14 HarvestBoost Fertilizers, and one HydratePro Fertilizer to reap all of the benefits from this layout.

This 9x9 layout includes the crops fromthe Maji Market event, such as bok choy and napa cabbage. Bok choy seeds can be purchased for 25 lucky envelopes or 30 gold from the general store. Napa cabbage seeds are a bit cheaper, sitting at 15 lucky envelopes or 20 gold.

Bok choy is good for weed prevention while napa cabbage helps with water retention, which is why players will not need to water their garden as much and can enjoy weed-free plants.

Apple

On occasion, lucky players will receivestar-quality apple tree seeds. Those who have larger quantities of star crop seeds will benefit from this 9x9 layout, which includes seeds like tomatoes, wheat, apples, and rice.

Star-quality crops are better for making glow worms, cooking, gifting, and making gold (money). The only downside is that this setup will require a bit more maintenance in the form of watering and weeding. Ensure thatwatering cans and other gardening toolsare in good condition and repair them if needed before gardening.
